Feels warm when using it and never causes any pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite way to remove hair from my legs and face. I often have to shave every over day and find this lumea to be a gamechanger. The product is best used after shaving and skin is dry. Since it’s corded I have to be near an outlet. A longer cord would have been helpful but I make it work. I shave then use it a few minutes after toweling so my skin is still super clean. When you first begin using it you’ll need to do a test to find the best setting. I was worried a hair removal device would be painful but even on the highest setting it just feels like I’m being touched with something warm. The flash is bright so don’t look right at it when you hit the button. I appreciate that this works so well with my dark brown hair. It has only taken a few uses to be effective! Less hair makes my life so much simpler. The attachments are for different body areas. So when I do face I use one attachment and then when I go back to my legs I switch again. The attachments feel semi delicate so don’t be rough with removing them. I wiggle each one to remove it. The main thing I need help with is reaching hard to get to areas on my body. For example, since the back of my thighs are difficult to reach I have someone else do that part for me. The kit comes with a super handy carrying case so I keep the lumea clean and all pieces don’t get lost. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to get rid of body hair and appreciates a pain free solution.

Super Excited To Continue Using This!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive the Philips Lumea 8000 Series IPL Hair Removal Device for body and face areas because I’ve been wanting to try an IPL device for quite a while now. It feels like a well made and high quality device. It’s easy to hold and although it’s somewhat big, it isn’t heavy or too bulky when it’s being used. I love that it comes with two different attachments; one for use on the body and one for use on the face. It’s easy to use and doesn’t take much time at all. I love that it has safety features like a skin tone sensor and a sensor to make sure you have complete skin contact before it’ll allow you to use it. I was a bit nervous that it might hurt and be uncomfortable but I actually didn’t feel anything uncomfortable at all. The most I felt was a little bit of warmth on the window of the device where the light shines through but it wasn’t too hot or enough to burn the skin. So far I’ve only used it once and I enjoyed how quick, easy, and pain free it was and hopefully with continued use I’ll begin to see results. It’s recommended to be used bi-weekly for the first two months and once a month after that to maintain your results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dark thick hair so i was excited to try this. it reduces hair growth by applying light pulses to the hair roots. the one thing i was worried about most was how painful it was gonna be but it didn't hurt at all and i have super sensitive skin. it just feels like a rubber band snapping in some areas. it makes your hair grow back more sparely and finer and the hair grows back way slower. it reduces hair in just 3 treatments. i absolutely love that it can detect your skin tone to recommend the best intensity level for you. it comes with attachments for your body and face. it's a little on the pricey side but it WORKS!
