So far so good. We are very happy so far. I have asked Barber and Haskill where we bought the fridge to see about getting another shelf for our fridge/freezer. Maybe you can help.

Poor temperature control

I bought this unit about 2 weeks ago and I am not very happy with it. The freezer is set at -17 C but during the defrost cycle, the temperature goes up to -3C. This is way to close to thawing for my comfort. Our upstairs freezer only warms to about -12C in comparison. It hasn't failed yet (although the last Frigidaire freezer we had only lasted 4 years) but I am watching it closly.

During the automatic defrost cycle, it is normal for the freezer temperature to rise temporarily as frost is removed from the evaporator. However, if you continue to notice temperatures that seem unusually high, extended warming periods, or any signs that food is beginning to thaw, we'd be happy to help determine whether your freezer is operating as intended.

Perfect Fit

We purchased our 21 Cu.Ft. Upright Freezer to handle our garden and orchard bounty. We needed a freezer that fit a specific spot and the fit is perfect. Lots of storage with the shelf lined door, and interior shelves and two pull out baskets. Everything is visible, and the inside temperature gauge on the door let’s us know everything is freezing at the temperature we selected. Love the grey finish as it is in our laundry room and matches our washer and dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall great appearance and function

I bought thiis a week ago and am pleasantly surprised that the fingerpri ts so far and wiping off with damp cloth. The I side is light and bright and I have yet to see any frost build uo...so far very happy!! Would recommend.m2nd it highly

Purchased three weeks ago - love it!

I'll be upfront - this is a BIG freezer. Bigger than I envisioned it, but it's awfully nice to have room. If I were to change anything, it would be either to add more shelves OR to add some baskets/large drawer options. That said, it's bright, it's cold, and I think I could fit a whole cow in there...or a small elephant. This thing is delightfully large!
I would recommend this to a friend!
