Love the uprodght freezer

Good freezer but having some issues

We bought this freezer about 3 months ago and right away started having an issue. Every once in a while, the freezer stops working and it warms up. Luckily, we have caught it each time without any food going to waste. Not sure what the issue is. The alarm is also not loud enough as we have the freezer in our garage. The door also does not close well enough...often one of the kids will go to the freezer to grab something and close the door but it will "bounce" back open. To be clear, this is not the reason why the fridge warms up periodically. That is a separate issue. Suffice to say...we are watching it closely. It has not happened in a few weeks!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We understand how concerning it is to have to monitor a relatively new freezer so closely.
As a basic troubleshooting step, please make sure the freezer is properly leveled and that nothing inside is preventing the door from closing and sealing completely. Check the door gasket for any debris, damage, or areas that may prevent a proper seal. Also, make sure the unit has adequate clearance around it and that the garage temperature remains within the recommended operating range. If the freezer warms up again, note the temperature and any alarm activity to share with the service team.

Great freezer and very silent

Great product

Great appliance…we use it as a freezer but could have used in the refrigerator mode if we wanted to. Being able to switch the door hinge to left opening is a great convenience. Would highly recommend this freezer/refrigerator.
