So quick so easy

I was quickly falling behind in my mopping the entire house because it is all wood floors and takes entirely too long… I’d have to vacuum, then mop but now I can vacuum and mop at the exact same time! I’ve never been more on top of my floor cleanliness!

Great Mop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Bissell CrossWave Reach, especially for cleaning hardwood floors and tile. It has cut my cleaning time down by at least half compared to traditional mopping, which has made a noticeable difference.
The battery lasted much longer than I expected, and I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly it recharged. I love that it’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and can reach those harder-to-clean spaces without a lot of effort. Setup was very user-friendly, and the charging station is simple, compact, and doesn’t take up much space.
Another huge plus is how quickly the floors dry after cleaning. I didn’t have to worry about leaving behind a slippery, wet floor, which is especially convenient when you need to move around the room right away.
Cleaning the CrossWave itself is also super easy. The individual pieces are simple to rinse and clean, and I definitely recommend using the included Bissell cleaning solution for the best results.
For me, it was most effective on light-to-medium stains and everyday messes. I didn’t notice as much of a difference when using it on carpet, but for my hard floors, it has been a great addition to my cleaning routine!

Best for everyday cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel wet dry vac was an absolute game changer! Being able to sweep and mop simultaneously with one easy to use device definitely gave me peace of mind going to bed with a clean house, without taking a huge chunk out of my night! The Bissel Crosswave Reach was easy to set up and the instructions were clear and straightforward; the sample solution lasted quite a few runs before I had to restock. I used it every night to clean my floors and it was quicker, easier, and just as effective as sweeping and then mopping. The machine rolls almost on its own and is very easy to maneuver but the biggest plus for me was the lay flat design. I have queen sized beds and a long dining room table and I was able to get all the dust out from under the beds with this machine, which I have never been able to do before. Due to the incredible maneuverability, I also had no trouble cleaning under the dining room table, even with all the chairs in place!! This saved me a lot of time and energy not having to remove and replace all the heavy chairs before and after cleaning. This machine is also equipped with edge cleaning technology which I found very helpful when vacuuming along the baseboards and furniture; it really picked up all the dust and crumbs. Towards the end of a cleaning cycle the handle does start to get heavy because the dirty water tank is attached to it but my arm was never sore after a cleaning session. The only aspect I was dissatisfied with was how thorough it was in cleaning messes. I have a two year old and a nine month old so spilled milk, crumbs, random ketchup on the floor type of messes are understandably common, and those were easily cleaned by the Bissel Crosswave Reach. However, anything stuck to the floor was not picked up or cleaned, even on the strongest cleaning setting. If I missed a spot of ketchup one night and it dried, I had to manually scrape it off the floor, the machine wasn’t able to tackle such tough messes. Overall I love this wet dry vac and would highly recommend for day to day cleaning, and certainly for reaching in hard to reach spaces.

Total game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with the Bissell CrossWave Reach! I have a mix of hardwood, tile & rugs. My floors are the cleanest they've ever been, while spending LESS time cleaning them. I'm so happy.
I've never used a wet-dry vac before, and I was a bit skeptical that one machine could do it all, but Bissell has really nailed it with the CrossWave Reach.
Getting started was very easy; the instructions were super clear and assembly was very quick.
I love the fact that this is cordless and the run time is great. I can clean my entire home with plenty of battery life left over.
This vac is very well-designed and thought out. The edge cleaning tech really works; my floors are clean all the way to the edge of the baseboards! I also love the design of the filter which separates liquids from solids and makes it very easy to clean.
My favorite feature on this vac is the self-cleaning cycle. To me, that is the icing on the cake! I've had other wet vacs but hated cleaning them out; this machine cleans itself, and it really does get clean! All I have to do is empty the tanks and set the filter & brush out to dry.
I truly can't believe how amazing my floors with just one quick pass from the wet-dry vac. It picks up the everyday pet hair, dust & dirt and leaves my floors feeling so clean. I rarely use my vacuum anymore!
I was worried a wet-dry vac might leave too much moisture on my wood floors, but I'm happy to report that my floors are just barely damp after using and the solution dries very quickly. I have zero concerns, even on my distressed 'character grade' wood flooring.
Overall I'm incredibly happy with the Bissell CrossWave Reach and would highly recommend!

Helpful for easy kitchen cleanup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach has ended up being a welcome addition to our busy household, where it tackles small messes left behind by our rambunctious toddler.
The unit was easy to set up, although filling the clean-water tank was a little challenging at first since the tank does not sit flat. The controls are very intuitive and easy to figure out.
I really like the weight of the machine—it’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and moves smoothly. The rotating/swiveling action also makes it very easy to guide around the room and around furniture. I have arthritis in both hands and sometimes have trouble with the weight of some appliances, but had no such issues with the Bissell CrossWave Reach.
The edge-cleaning technology also worked well for me. It allowed me to maneuver the unit around the base of my cabinets without overextending my wrists, which I appreciated. The machine cleans well along the edges and does not just push debris up to the edge.

Being able to pick up wet food spilled by my toddler with one unit does save a little bit of cleaning time. That said, you do have to completely empty the unit after using it or it can start to smell if not emptied right away - there is some setup and cleanup time required to use the unit for small messes.
The lay-flat feature worked well to get underneath kitchen furniture, but I’ve noticed it doesn’t function as well once the dirty water tank is more than 75% full –the full dirty-water tank alert seems to trigger early. I found it best to use the lay-flat feature in the very beginning of a cleaning session to avoid hitting this limitation.
The Bissell CrossWave Reach, unfortunately, falls short when tackling really tough messes – semi-hard bits of food left sitting out on the floor remained stuck to the floor even after many attempts to remove them with the unit. I did end up having to scrape these off with a fingernail before cleaning in order to get the machine to pick these up.
The sanitizing formula was ok, but I wasn’t a fan of the smell. However, it dissipated quickly without having to air the room out.
Overall I will keep using the machine and I definitely recommend it, but due to the time it takes to prepare and clean the unit after use, I have found it is best for end-of-day cleanup around the kitchen and dining areas rather than a quick solution for small messes. Since it also struggled with tough stuck-on food, it is not a complete replacement for other hard surface wet cleaning tools for me.

Overall impressed and time saving machine

I am a traditional sweep then steam mop kind of person, but I was impressed with the quality of clean I was getting as well as the efficiency of cutting my time almost in half. A slight learning curve of figuring out the device for the first time that added a little time, but overall, not much extra time, relatively easy to figure out, and really efficient! I did try their cleaning product out, and I appreciated that it didn’t leave streaks. But I would be willing to use this device regardless of the cleaning concentration or not. (I think just water would go a long way too.) I really thought the self clean of the machine for post-use was a very thought out and great feature. I appreciate keeping my devices cleaned out and therefore lasting longer. It did lay flat to reach under certain areas nicely, but it had a hard time getting in the corners or edges. I truly don’t expect any vacuum to achieve that well though. It did the better than I could have anticipated. I was bummed the device automatically shut off when put in upright position because it didn’t allow me to do my stairs very easily. That will be something I will continue to try a few methods on to figure out the best way, but a huge bummer since I like to clean my stairs regularly with the amount of foot traffic we have. Overall, I really enjoyed this product and look forward to using it frequently for my everyday cleaning. Very grateful for a device like this with young kids!

I LOVE this wetdry Vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has made my life so much easier! I have 3 boys and one dog which means there are stains everywhere, all the time! I also work full time and can never find the time to mop the house. The Bissel CrossWave Reach really helped me out with this! It was quick, easy, and efficient. I got my entire house (kitchen, living room, primary bedroom, and 2 bathrooms) mopped in about 25 minutes with no need to stop and recharge. The sanitizing formula did a great job cleaning everything, I was able to walk around my house without feeling dirt and hair all over my feet! The lay-flat design really helped to get some of those hard to reach areas like the kitchen table, but it is not small enough to fit under the entire couch. Edge cleaning technology was great and it was incredibly easy to maneuver, it almost felt like it would self propel forward. Getting started was pretty simple and the instructions were clear! Once it was fully charged I was able to get it up and running in 10 minutes after reading the instructions and filling the water tank. It’s very easy to clean with the self cleaning mode, which makes it all the more appealing. Dry time is also really fast! The reason why I docked one star is because I had to stop mopping to refill the water tank as I ran out during my clean. But if you are only cleaning one area you wouldn’t need to do that. I would definitely recommend this wet-dry vac!

Best New Floor Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had the Bissel CrossWave Reach for about a month but it’s so easy to use. Ive found that I’ve been cleaning my floors more than usual!
I love that it propels itself forward so that you don’t have to bust your shoulder trying to use it! It’s pretty lightweight but having that extra momentum makes cleaning so much faster.
We have hardwoods and tile throughout most of our house and I can clean all of them with one tank full of water and cleaning solution! It picks up so much more dirt that just a regular mop and doesn’t spread it around. It quickly sucks up all the dirt and water with one pass!
The self cleaning mode is amazing! I love that it cleans itself out and all you have to do is dump it and let it dry!
It can lay flat too so cleaning under things without having to move them is a huge plus!
Highly recommend, especially if you have toddlers or just kids in general and pets. It doesn’t leave your floors wet which makes it stay clean longer without a bunch of little paw or foot prints!
