Easy as One Two Three

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach has been a wonderful addition to our cleaning routine, especially since it can go from hard surfaces to carpeted surfaces during the same cleaning cycle. We’ve found the Crosswave incredibly easy to use and instructions easy to follow. The flat head allows you to easily clean in hard to reach places like under sofas or buffets. Additionally the swivel head allows you to round corners and get underneath cabinets, I find this feature especially helpful in the kitchen under the cabinets since I clean the area more frequently. The Crosswave also has a self cleaning mode which is easy to use and very efficient.

Efficient Floor Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the unit was easy to put together. The provider directions are clear, and I was able to easily set up the vacuum for use right away.
To get cleaning, I was able to use one of two provided cleaners and I opted for the standard cleaning solution over the sanitizing. The design prompts you to fill the clean water compartment, then add the soap. This felt backwards as you had to guess how much room to leave for the recommended soap, but they give you a convenient measuring cup that pours nicely. When refilling the clean water compartment I realized that add soap first made the water sudsy, and I think that is why the soap goes in last.
During us, the vacuum was very lightweight. I appreciated how easy it was to push, and it took some effort not to go too quickly because it was so light. I liked that the floor looked wet enough that it felt like things were getting clean, but it did not take a long time to dry.
The dirty water compartment definitely proved that it was cleaning. There was no doubt between the physical particles and the color of the water that it was pulling things off my vinyl plank. I did notice that it had trouble getting small more stubborn spots. If there was, say a small dried splotch loving left by my children (think small piece of fruit snack) I had trouble and had to go over several times before it loosened, or it didn’t come up at all.
Clean up was simple, and the unit comes apart to remove the solid material. A filter keeps it separate from the water and did need some attention to make sure it was fully clean. After emptying the waste, you have to do a rinse cycle, which runs automatically on the base, then empty it again. This was the biggest con I found as it was significantly louder than its normal running sound, but it didn’t last long.
This unit is great for daily cleaning of hard surfaces where there isn’t a huge sticky mess, and not having to vacuum before wet cleaning. The unit is sleek and narrow, which takes up less space in storage too. I plan to continue to use this model between normal vacuuming to keep the floors more clean overall.

Excellent All In One Cleaning Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been debating several brands of a vacuum/mop product for over a year and was so excited to see this product! It hit all of my must haves: cordless, easy to maneuver, lightweight, wet/dry combo, and self-cleaning!
I have a small child which means lots of messes in our kitchen/dining area. We have tile and wood in this space. I loved having something I could safely and easily use on both surfaces and was truly an all in one. I didn’t have to vacuum and then mop, this did it all.
I loved the design of this product since it’s very compact and easy to move around. The self propelling feature basically cleans the floor for you. It’s easy to use in any corner or crevice because it lays flat, turns/swivels, and gets right up to the edge of any surface. It made it so easy to clean under my cabinets and kitchen peninsula where we often eat.
The self cleaning feature is amazing. I do get really grossed out by the water and all the gunk it sucks up, but luckily I just dump it into the toilet and then let the cleaning feature do its thing and dump again. That’s it! I like that most of the dust collects against the roller so when you remove that to dry it’s really easily to collect with a paper towel. The only con to this was a user error snafu on my first clean when I accidentally grabbed the dirty water tank by the handle that removes the lid and it spilled everywhere. Once I realized it hasn’t happened again, but very annoying the first time.
Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone considering a vac/mop “do it all” combo item. It’s replaced several other cleaning implements near our kitchen and is our go to device now.

Must Have Wet Dry Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the Bissell CrossWave Reach. The mop/vacuum combo makes cleaning up everyday messes so much easier because it vacuums and washes the floors at the same time. I have 3 kids, so there are constantly crumbs, spills, and little messes throughout the day, and this has been such a time-saver.
Right out of the box, set up was easy and the instructions are clear to get started. Once you assemble the handle and do the initial charge, you are good to go.
It does a great job picking up dust and dirt, and the mopping function works really well for everyday messes and wet spills. I also love that it can lay flat, which makes it easy to clean under furniture and other hard-to-reach areas.
If you have kids, pets, or a lot of hard floors, I would definitely recommend the CrossWave Reach. It has quickly become one of my go-to cleaning tools!

Good vacuum with some caveats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach is a solid product that works well for its intended use though there are some things I disliked about it. First and foremost, it comes mostly fully assembled; you just have to insert the handle and set up the docking station (the charger). I loved the ease of set up, although I did insert the handle backwards at first (oops). I like that the docking station allows the charging cable to come out on either the left or right side, depending on where you set it up in relation to an outlet.
The instructions are clear and straightforward and not some giant overwhelming booklet, which I appreciated. So once I charged the vacuum and browsed the booklet, it was easy to get the product going. You just need to fill the clean water tank with water and cleaning formula to get started.
I use the product both for a general clean of my entire floor and also to clean up spills. I keep my floors pretty clean in general because I don’t allow shoes in the house so there wasn’t a visibly noticeable difference in the before and after of a general clean, but I do like that the product sanitizes. It worked really well to clean up some spilled coffee, though I’m not sure I would go through the process of getting the machine out, running it, and doing the dirty water tank emptying/clean-out cycle (something that needs to be done with each use) for something like a small spill. It doesn’t seem worth my time when I could just use a paper towel and some spray sanitizer. Overall, they give it a solid four out of five stars.

-It’s marketed as a wet/dry vacuum, but it’s not really intended to be used for ONLY dry messes. I have a cat so the majority of cleaning I do is just vacuuming up pet hair, which means I still use my traditional vacuum more.
-Although it will clean up pet hair while also “mopping” (for lack of a better word), the pet hair does kind of get everywhere if you don’t vacuum before using it
-Though the cleanup process is easy, it’s a bit time-consuming to use the vacuum for small messes so I reserve it for a more deep clean of my floors
-It didn’t get as close to edges of walls and cabinets as they would have liked

Mopping Made Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach was really easy to assemble and after leaving the house to run errands for a few hours, the Bissell was charged up and ready to go. We have hardwood floors throughout most of our house, with the exception of 2 bedrooms, and I tackled the kitchen, dining room, part of the living room, plus our long hallways.
I opted to use the “Hard Floor Sanitize” solution for this cleaning, and once I turned on the CrossWave, it was super simple and easy to maneuver.
We had some unforeseen little bits of stuck “gunk” under our dining room table, so after scraping some of that off by hand, the CrossWave took care of the rest.
After making a couple of laps in all of the aformentioned areas of the house (dining room, kitchen, etc), I did notice a couple of wet/dry streaks. Later after everything dried, it was not really noticeable and I think it had everything to do with this being my first use of the CrossWave. I cannot wait to try some of the other functions, yet this was IMMENSELY easier than the standard hand mop (think Swifter) so I am a fan.
10 out of 10!

Very nice machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With kids and cats, we have plenty wet and dry messes, and the Bissell CrossWave Reach has made cleaning them much quicker. Around our cat food area, for example, there are often bits of food and spilled water that previously would have required both a vacuum and a mop. Being able to handle both with one machine is a real time-saver. The floors also dried more quickly than with a mop.
The CrossWave Reach is surprisingly light and quiet, turns easily, and pivots nicely to get under cabinets and furniture. The edge cleaning also does a good job getting close to cabinets and baseboards. I originally got it mainly for our wood floors, but I was impressed by how well it cleaned a thicker area rug too. It’s incredible to get a whole house clean in one machine. I liked the sanitize formula as an option as well.
It was straightforward to set up and use right away, with clear controls and labels.
I like the stand for catching any drips and it fits surprisingly well in our already overstuffed closet.
Like any wet-dry vacuum, there is some cleanup of the dirty-water tank afterward, but overall it’s easy enough to use that I’m much more likely to grab it for everyday messes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
