The Cleaning Tool You Didnt Know You Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So overall first impression, amazed honestly! My expectations were far exceeded by the performance of this mop vac. Initial I thought it may not perform as well as my standard broom and mop. I attempted to sweep and lightly spot mop before giving this a go. Most mop vacs break easily and have trouble getting up larger messes. So me thinking I was just going to lightly mop the area, upon Turing on this tool the power was amazing! This mop vac guides with force and really vacuums while leaving the perfect amount of water down to cleanse and sanitize the floor. It’s not soaking wet, it’s just perfect and dries quick. I got under my cabinets with ease; this mop vac gets close to corners and edges perfectly. To my surprise emptying out the dirty water was mind blowing! Hair, small particles, dirt, and all the small things I thought were picked up was in the cache! My floors smelled and looked professionally done. The self cleaning feature is cool and the instructions are minimal and easy to follow. It’s a great investment for floor heavy layouts that need a good refresher daily. You’ll save time and energy using this tool regularly!

Decent Everyday Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wet-dry vac is decent for everyday use, but I wouldn’t rely on it to clean anything that’s too stuck-on or really heavily soiled. That said, I find it pretty convenient for cleaning up fresh messes and daily light cleaning. It is nice not having to pull out a whole mop and bucket just to clean up small messes like a spilled drink. It definitely cuts floor cleaning time quite a bit since the vacuuming and mopping is now one step, but I do still have to spot clean more stubborn areas.
The lay-flat design is useful to clean under furniture, but the machine won’t work in the flat position if there’s too much water in the dirty tank, and the tank fills up rather quickly, so that’s a bit annoying. The edge cleaning technology really needs some work, as I don’t find that the machine cleans edges well at all. There is always about half an inch that is missed where the floor meets the wall.
The machine is pretty easy to maneuver, and is self-propelled which I didn’t expect. I like the self-propulsion, but I do wish there was some kind of switch to pause it since I often find myself having to turn the whole machine off when I need to stop and move something out of the vacuum path. It wasn’t too difficult to get started and use the machine for the first time, and the controls and instructions are pretty straightforward. The tank with the clean water and cleaning solution is conveniently labeled so you know exactly how much of each to add. However, this tank won’t sit flat when you try to fill it, and large air bubbles tend to form, so I’m never 100 percent sure that my levels are accurate. It still seems to clean just fine, so I don’t worry about it too much, but it would be easier to measure accurately if it was level when set on a flat surface.
Overall, I would say that this machine is solid despite having some room for improvement in several areas. Keep your expectations managed and you’ll be happy. I’ll continue to use it regularly with the knowledge that I’ll still need to pull out the mop and bucket on occasion for tougher messes.

Squeaky Clean Floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissell CrossWave Reach is an excellent for cleaning tile floors. It was easy to unbox and set up for charging, set up for cleaning (using the sanitizing formulas), get around tough areas for cleaning, and clean up afterwards. My home has a lot of tile floors, and the hard floor sanitize liquid worked great at leaving the floors looking and feeling clean. I have three young children that always leave a mess behind after mealtime and this Bissell made it simple to wipe up sticky floors. It features a layer of flat design that helped me to reach under the table and even under the bed in my master bedroom. Normally all of those are too backbreaking for me to even attempt, but this made it simple and easy to give it a go and sure left my house much cleaner than usual. I loved how it is very lightweight and easy to push around throughout my house without having to switch hands very much to give my arm a break.
Overall I loved the product and my only complaint was that I needed a designated spot in my washroom to store it, since it stands upright on its charging dock. But overall it is great and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Easy breezy cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Bissell CrossWave Reach! It is easy to use from the moment you unbox it through the cleanup afterward. I have used various carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, and vacuum combos, and the worst part is the cleanup afterward—getting the machine itself clean. Not with this baby!
When you fill the water reservoir and add the solution (which smells great btw!), you’re ready to go! It’s so nice to have a cordless wet cleaner with enough power behind it to actually clean the floor with liquid. When you start it, it just goes, as if it’s a puppy ready to go for its walk!
When you’re done, the cleanup is what makes this machine so great. You can empty the tank, which has a filter basket for the bigger stuff that you can throw away, and then rinse out the reservoir and basket. I personally empty the dirty water into the toilet. Rinse, repeat, and flush.
Then you can refill the main reservoir and have it run a self-cleaning cycle once you set it on the charger base. It will literally clean the roller—which, on a side note, is also insanely easy to take off!—and then you re-empty the dirty-water reservoir. And boom, you’re done: no dirty, icky water stuck in pipes, hoses, or anything!
This is making my life a whole lot easier. It vacuums and mops at the same time. Do I still vacuum besides using this? Yes, every other day. But now I don’t need to take out both the vacuum and the mop on the other days when I wet-clean. And with kids, saving time on any given day is a win in my book!

Life saver for busy toddler mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Bissell CrossWave Reach Machine a month ago and I LOVE it. I have always preferred using a broom on my hard floors as anytime I used a vacuum it wouldn't get the corners and in my opinion takes longer than a broom. Well, this machine has been a game changer. Since receiving it I hardly ever reach for my broom. It is self propelled so I know it's moving at the correct speed to properly pick up all the dirt.
The suction on it is also phenomenal. I have two small toddlers so we make quite a bit of messes during the day but it is durable enough to clean almost all of them. Cup of water spilled on the floor? Grab the Bissell CrossWave and quick mop up the water. No extra rags needed to mop up spills. Food on the floor around a highchair? A few quick swipes and it's gone. It's lightweight and easily maneavarble so even my 4 year old can use it to clean up messes.
When I first received it I had difficulty assembling as I just read the written instructions and did not examine the pictures in the manual as well. The handle slips completely onto the base facing either direction but the machine will only turn on if installed correctly. Once I reread and looked at the correlating picture I was able to install it correctly and the machine worked perfectly.
The edge cleaning technology works great. It can get almost everything along the edges under my cabinets. It maneuvers in almost any position to reach under low surfaces. You just have to make sure the dirty water tank isn't too full or it will leak when it's in the lay flat position.
I was also very impressed with the battery lifespan. I could do my normal cleaning routine which is my kitchen, living room and sunroom floor and the battery wasn't even close to being depleted when I was finished.
Another feature I find to be very practical is that it doesn't use excessive amounts of water when cleaning. When using a mop and bucket I need to keep my children off the floor until it dries but with the Bissell Crosswave it dries in a matter of seconds so there's no time-lapse between mopping and being able to use the room that was just cleaned.
In conclusion I highly recommend the Bissell CrossWave Reach. It has saved me so much time in my cleaning schedule and I tend to clean spills and messes up sooner as it's not as big a process as it was when I had to use a mop and bucket. I also love how it helps my children be more independent and clean up after themselves as it's easier for them to use than a broom. It is definitely reached for several times a day and has been a life saver in helping to keep after all the little messes and spills toddlers make throughout the day. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who has a busy schedule as it's efficient design allows for clean up in just a matter of minutes.

A vacuum for every house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell cross wave reach is a great cordless, wet and dry vacuum designed to handle all kinds of cleaning on hard surfaces. Additionally, the low profile handle that adjust horizontally to floor level allows the unit to go under furniture, tables and chairs with ease. The cordless features mean that you can clean your home without having to be tied to an outlet further making this vacuum more versatile. The runtime of a fully charged battery was enough to clean a kitchen as well as three bathrooms with energy to spare for additional cleaning. Although the low profile function does make it easier to get under furniture. The unit is still fairly thick and makes it difficult to get under couches that sit lower to the ground on a hard surface. The cleaning function did well picking up old dirt spots without leaving behind a sticky or wet residue cleaning the unit afterwards was easy by using the instructions provided. Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a cordless wet, dry vacuum that can be used in many places of the home.

Great for Toddler Parents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this product is extremely useful for toddler parents. Our daughter loves rice, bread, fruit and other sticky and crumby things that always ended up on our hardwood floor. With the Crosswave Reach, we no longer have to get on our hands and knees after every meal to clean up. The Crosswave Reach quickly and quietly picks up food particles and leaves our floors clean. As a bonus, my 18 month old is obsessed with our new vacuum and gets excited when we use it.
It was very quick and easy to put together and we have had no issues with the battery life. We dock it after every use and have enough power to clean our entire main floor with one charge easily. We mainly use it on our hardwood, but have also used it on tile and have had good results with both.
The one slightly annoying thing is it needs to be cleaned after each use. The cleaning is relatively simple, we typically just flush the dirty water down the toilet and rinse the pieces in the sink. Since we use it mostly to clean up food particles, it makes sense that we'd want to keep it clean so nothing sit inside and spoils. It takes no longer than 5-10 minutes to clean the floors and rinse out the vacuum post-use, so not time consuming at all.
Would definitely recommend for all parents who would like a simple way to keep floors clean.

No Double Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m notorious in my household for my ‘No Double Work’ rule. I’m always trying to find ways to simplify chores, and this wet-dry vac was a true time and effort saver! Friends with other wet-dry vacs have told me they still needed to sweep or vacuum first; otherwise, their floors remained dirty. This vacuum completely eliminates that extra step for everyday tidying.
Thanks to the lay-flat design, I can quickly and easily clean the floors and reach under low spaces like tables, chairs, and consoles. It does have an auto-shutoff feature in the lay-flat position that can make it a bit tricky to maneuver at times, but it still beats getting on my hands and knees or moving heavy furniture for a quick cleanup!
I do wish there were a way to turn off the wet function and use it strictly as a dry vacuum mid-clean for areas like kitchen rugs, but honestly, going over the rugs with the wet setting works fine since they dry quickly anyway.
With three kids and a large dog, our floors get dirty fast, and accidents abound. I’ve used this wet-dry vac to clean up spills and pet messes while trusting that the floors are truly clean thanks to the sanitizing formula. I can even reach all the way against my baseboards because of how the edge is designed. AND possibly most importantly, it’s easy to clean after using it clean! All the pieces come apart for an easy refresh. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed and pleased that this vacuum upholds my ‘No Double Work’ policy!”
