Bissell CrossWave Reach Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach is easy to use and the sanitizing formula helps make it easy to keep the floor clean. Some different scented formulas would be interesting. The vac helps save 20 minutes daily in keeping the floor clean. This wet-dry vac has been used daily, sometimes multiple times a day since receiving it.
The lay flat design makes it easy to go under tables and chairs for quick maneuvers.
The edge cleaning makes it easy to use on the floors and around cabinets. All debris along the edges gets picked up. It was very easy to use.
Everything was very straightforward and did not need directions to get going. It is very easy to disassemble and clean after each use. Additional rollers and formulas would be beneficial to support regular use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum made cleaning easy. So easy to use just add water and the cleaning solution and the vacuum does all the work! It even gets on the crevices! It has 2 power levels and they work like a dream. It is small enough to get user so many pieces of furniture and this vacuum is light weight too! It works wonders on my carpets too, looks brand new! My daughter even enjoys to use this vacuum, she told me it makes cleaning the floors souxh easier! And let's not forget the fact thar it has its own automatic cleaning just by a push of a button. The fact that it is cordless is one of my favorite things too, no worries about cords, and switching plug ins!

Toddler and Pet Mom MustHave WetDry Vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I opened the box, this machine has been so easy and efficient! The directions for putting it together were simple and clearly written including helpful images. It was together within 5 minutes. Finding, releasing and filling the water and cleaning solution reservoir was so quick and easy. I had no problems getting it sealed back in place on the unit. Within a minute it was ready to use. The entire machine is so lightweight and easy to maneuver in tight places. It feels as if it self propels making it so light while you're cleaning with it. I love the way it leaves our floors looking and feeling so fresh and clean. The sanitizing solution works excellent, leaving a soft, fresh scent and giving us moms a peace of mind knowing that our floors look great and have minimal germs. This machine saves me so much time not having to dig out the ole mop, heat up the water, fill and dump the bucket. The efficiency and ease of use are my favorite things about it. I feel like my floors have been cleaner than ever because it’s so easy to whip out this vacuum. The special features like laying flat and edge cleaning make me so happy and satisfied knowing that I easily didn’t miss any spots. With limited kitchen space, our Bissel Crosswave Reach has to sit out in the kitchen however with its sleek look and design I don’t mind one bit. I also love its charging holding tray to keep it in place and keep the area around it clean, free from drips. Once it’s in its tray, the self cleaning cycle is such an appreciated feature! I don’t have to worry about taking it apart every time I use it to clean it out. I know that each time I go to run the machine, it's clean and ready to rock. My floors look better than ever with no drips or streaks and I feel like I cheated because it was so quick and easy. You would never know that we have a toddler based on our floors. My only complaint would be the first long battery charge that was needed before I could use it. I was so excited to get it together and then had to wait for the battery. So that was a little annoying but needed obviously. The only thing I might change would be to add a heat feature to assist in the sanitizing process. I highly recommend this machine to all my friends and family.

Easy for Deep Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid wet-dry vacuum for getting your floors really clean. We have young kids and pets, and this vacuum was great for the sticky, muddy messes that often pop up and even did well with pet hair. We haven't had this for long, but I imagine it will be a staple in the kitchen, around entryways and for deep clean or spills/ messes. The vacuum was easy to maneuver, light-weight, and did a surprisingly good job of getting under higher furniture like chairs. It didn't fit under our couch, but it's pretty low to the ground. It definitely takes some time to get accustomed to and figure out the set up, but the directions are helpful and once it is setup it saves serious time compared to vacuuming and mopping. I will say I don't think this completely replaces a basic stick vac - something you can grab and hoover up dry bits quickly, it is just more set-up. But, like I said it's great for when something sticky or wet is on the floor, a big spill, or you just want to do a nice deep clean.

Easy Clean Up

Our entire house is hardwood or tile, so finding a vacuum that won’t hurt the floors has always been a struggle. Enter: the CrossWave reach. Not only is it safe for the floors, it mops and sanitizes your floors. As a family with children and small pets, we constantly have spills, mud traces, etc. This wet-dry vac makes clean up a breeze for those slightly larger spills. It’s easy to use (and kind of fun as well!) making those weekly floor cleanings so much easier as well. I love that I don’t have to lug a giant bucket around, the water goes right into the base and is really easy to fill/empty. Because it’s powered, it has a slight pull to it when vacuuming - you can feel like suctioning so I know it’s working. It’s maneuvers around chairs and tough to reach spots like corners, and the lay flat design helps get under those hard to reach spots. There is an automatic safe guard built in to prevent the dirty water from spilling out if it gets too full and you use the lay flat feature.
The floor sanitizer smells great and my husband even commented how clean our floors looked the first time we used it. One of my favorite benefits is that it distributes just the right amount of water, so the dry time is super fast. My 7 year old even loves to use it and asks if he can be the floor mopper after meals. Getting started was super easy, and it stores upright in a designated charger that can fit in tight spaces. I definitely recommend getting this CrossWave Reach if you’re looking for replacement for clunky mops and buckets!

A Dream Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am obsessed with the Bissell CrossWave Reach, it has become an everyday item in my household for a few reasons. 1. I love the charging stand it has, it keeps the messy contained, and it is easy to clean and simple to recharge. It is set up out of the way, and keeps the system contained. 2. IT SELF CLEANS. My biggest gripe with these types of machines is cleaning them after use, it feels daunting. This does not. You simply set it on the charger and let it do its magic. Then dump the water and give everything a quick rinse. It makes cleaning so simple. 3. My floors are dry SO fast. With traditional mopping, I have to find a time the kids are out of the house. With this, I can clean my floors as they are making the mess and its no issue. The floors dry so quickly.
Overall, I have found myself reaching for this more and more. I appreciate the little details like how easy it is to take apart, and the stand, and how sparkling my floors are after each clean is the cherry on top. The Bissell CrossWave Reach easily integrated into our daily lives and made the messes less scary. I have been waiting for a product like this for a long time!!

Useful and works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine works well. It seems to clean all surfaces well, whether wood floors, tile, or rug/carpet. Two things I really like-- one, that I can effortlessly transition from one surface to the next, easily reaching under the couch and chairs in the living room and each of the beds. Two, I like that I don't have to vacuum before "mopping" the floor. It all happens in one go! The machine is easy to use (it was pretty straightforward to get started initially, although I definitely needed to reference the manual the first few uses--especially for the clean up portion), but cleaning it up afterward feels time consuming (and gross!). It would be best to have a back up roller brush to use if a new mess happens while the other is drying. The edge cleaning technology was decent. It is hard to clean all the way to the edge where the floor and wall meet using any kind of machine--this one got close, but not all the way. Our family does NOT like the smell of the sanitizing formula. We have cut out many synthetic fragrances in our home, so the smell was overwhelming, with everyone commenting on it. Overall I like the Bissell CrossWave Reach--it cleans the floors, it's fairly straightforward to use (other than cleaning it up at the end), and it's easy to handle and move around.

Useful Machine with Room for Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave Reach is a powerful cleaning tool that has the potential to be exceptional with a few tweaks. When I took it out of the box, I was impressed with the sleek design and how light it is compared to many other vacuums. However, regarding setup, not everything about it was super intuitive. For example, the instruction manual made it clear that there is a charging dock and a power cord, but there was no indication about where to connect the cord to the dock. It took me five minutes of looking all over the dock to realize the connection is underneath. I realize this might not be an issue for some people, but since the designers used illustrations in the instruction manual, it does not seem like it would be that hard to include an arrow to indicate that the dock needs to be turned over to attach the charging cord. Thankfully, as soon as I assembled the charging dock, I was able to charge the machine and use it shortly after.
Cleaning my floors with the Bissell CrossWave Reach has become part of my regular routine several nights a week. I have four young kids, and by the end of each day, my floors have crumbs, art project scraps, and more scattered on them. In about 20 minutes, I can use the Reach to clean my kitchen, dining area, living room floors, and hallways. It is very easy to switch from one cleaning mode to the next. I usually start in Eco mode, use High in high traffic areas, and then use the Turbo mode under the table in our dining area. The Bissell CrossWave Reach is able to pick up most crumbs and splatters on the first pass, but sometimes I need to stop the machine and wipe up a spot by hand (like on pasta night). The lay-flat design helps me get hard-to-reach areas under the couch with ease.
Overall, I am impressed with the Bissell CrossWave Reach’s performance and think that a few changes would make it an even better product. Based on the height of the clean water tank combined with the brush, the machine cannot fit under some of our furniture, so any crumbs that end up under them get pushed along the edge of furniture and have to be vacuumed or swept up by hand. It would be nice to have a light added to the machine to make it easier to see the floor when cleaning, especially for nighttime. The machine sometimes leaves lines on my flooring along the edges of the brush, but they dry without being noticeable.
Each time I use the Bissell CrossWave Reach, I am simultaneously pleased and grossed out by how much dust and dirt it picks up from my floor on a nearly nightly basis. I start with a clean water tank and end up with a dirty water tank filled with gray water, soggy crumbs, and hair. The dirty water tank is easy to clean and to reinstall before running the clean out cycle. In all, I probably spend about five minutes cleaning up the machine to prepare it for its next use. It’s a small price to pay for a clean floor!
