I bought two of these as I have a refrigerator/freezer and another freezer in my garage. With somewhat younger children, they sometimes are not as careful as they should be about closing the doors tight. These thermometers have saved us numerous times from having our freezers thaw because someone left a door open in summer. They are very accurate and do not use much battery.

Bought one and immediately bought another for the garage freezer and refrigerator. Accurate and gives me confidence that the food is safe without moving thermometers around. For the garage I use one sensor for the upright freezer and the other for the refrigerator (I don't use the refrigerator freezer except for ice).
