Monitor temperatures in multiple locations
on July 9, 2026

Bought 3 Brushed Stainless Steel Digital Refrigerator and Freezer Thermometers — one each for home freezer, kitchen refrigerator, and garage refrigerator. Place monitors immediately adjacent to each other on a very visible spot on side of the garage freezer. All monitors connected immediately with their respective sensors. System works great — can immediately see all needed data — all needed information is located in a single location.

My fridge thermometer stop work after 4 years, and it was only used one month per year. I took out the batteries on all the equipment before leaving. So it really only worked 4 months.

We apologize that your thermometer has encountered an issue, but we are happy to assist! Please ensure you are using fresh batteries in all units, then perform the following hard reset. Please follow the steps carefully as the order is crucial to the success of the reset. 1. Bring all 3 units together, side-by-side. 2. Remove all batteries from all 3 units and change to a new, matching ABC channel. 3. Reinstall batteries in the thermometer display unit first. 4. Reinstall batteries into sensor #1. 5. Reinstall batteries into sensor #2. 6. The display unit should read temperatures from both sensors almost instantly. Please allow at least 20 minutes for the units to adjust to their surroundings before comparing temperature readings. If this does not correct the issue, please reach out to our support team via live chat or email request.

Hello. Thought I answered this previously.
The Acurite thermometer monitors both Refrigerator and Freezer with Monitor and two applicable sensors. Suggest using Lithium batteries because of the cold temperatures encountered...usual batteries not good enough.
The thermometer can be set with various alarm settings, but truly would be overkill. The Monitor and Sensors can just be loaded with the lithium batteries and he Monitor shows both the High and Low temperatures encountered over the last 24 hours.
I employ the ACU-RITE unit to see both my refrigerator and freezer are properly operating in acceptable temperature ranges at a glance. At times the temperatures in the freezer might go to 18 to 20 degrees F, that is when the freezer is employing a defrost cycle...no problem. It goes soon back to the usual acceptable 5-degrees F. Good equipment this ACU-RITE thermometer.

Works Even Better Than I Expected

I was curious to know the actual temperatures in my refrigerator/freezer and this Acurite product looked like it would do the trick, and was priced very reasonably. It works even better than I had hoped. I put the two sensors in each section of my refrigerator, and I have the display on the other side of the house in my den and it works perfectly. I like that I can check the high and low temperatures of each section for each day, or for how long the display has been operating.

Freezer/Refrig alarm

1) the symbols on the monitor are keyed to the opposite alarm sensor 2) the refrigerator alarm goes off constantly--even when the door is not opened...as at night. The alarm shows the unit is getting too cold and is too hot during the day when we are using it. Finally removed batteries from the sensor in the frig and we sleep better.

So far it performs well and is easy to read. It appears to be relatively accurate.
