Good but tha band take too long to dry

I like it and it does what is expected. The only issue is the band that gets too wet and take time to dry

Get a Garmin Fenix instead!

I do not like it. It battery does not last more than a two day charge. It does not do much. I have had a Garmin Fenix 10 years and it is wearing out. I will just get a new Fenix that is discounted as the Cirqa is not good at what it is alleged to do, does not do much, and does not keep a charge. The Fenix does not even keep my steps well, or my sleep details correctly.

Cirqa fills a gap in the Garmin ecosystem

The Garmin Cirqa fills a gap that some of us have in our Garmin ecosystem and fits some use cases. For me, sometimes I want to wear a normal watch for some reason and still want my health data and sleep monitored, or I am working on something physical that puts my forerunner at risk of damage.
Now I can wear the Cirqa on my dominant wrist and not worry about damaging my 970 or have to only wear my Garmin watch and not the rest of my cool watches.
Negatives - The thickness is off putting and it is actually less comfortable than wearing your full sized Garmin watch.
The auto detection for exercise is almost never recording at the right time. I am not sure if it is delaying the start or not. It accurately detected cycling and hiking but started about 15 minutes into the activity.
The band collects sweat and seems to be too tight in warm conditions if it was snug when you started, due to the elasticity. I have since swapped out the band for a non garmin silicone band to make the whole watch less obtrusive, as out of the box, it is too thick and ugly.
Now I can wear the Cirqa on my dominant wrist and not worry about damaging my 970 or have to only wear my Garmin watch and not the rest of my cool watches.

I have found the Cirqa to be closer to a Garmin HR strap for BPM when I wore all three devices to test them out on the trainer. The Circa also seems to have better connectivity to my 1040 cycling computer for broadcast heartrate, I have had the 970 disconnect on a ride for no reason and not reconnect, where the Cirqa stays connected so far tested on a 7 hour ride.
Overall, I am planning to keep the Cirqa as it fills the gap of a fitbit with broadcast HR and I wear it 24x7.

Sizing chart inaccurate doesn’t fit!

I followed the size guide and it’s not accurate, it fits my wrist but when open to remove it I can’t get it past my hand. Not happy considering returning !

So much potential - not realized yet

I was waiting for a screenless wearable from Garmin - to tie into the Garmin ecosystem. The Cirqa accomplishes much of this, but there are some significant issues. The price, size and general feature set is good. What is lacking is the detection ad recording of activities. When I cycle, I use a Garmin Edge 1040 bike computer. The Cirqa detects and records about 50% of the rides on the Edge 1040. The rides are either not detected or only portions of rides are recorded. I also use a Whoop, and the Whoop is far better at detecting and recording rides, runs, and other events. With better auto-detection, the Cirqa would be a clear winner. Get going Garmin!

Disappointing with the activities

I loved the idea of no screen and being able to wear a real watch.
This product tracks sleep very well. Disappointing with the activities that need to be picked up automatically.
Single-button management is inefficient, and even when pressed properly, it does not track activity well.
Knowing that Garmin is at the top of their game with tracking, I am hoping to they will evolve and make it better.

Good but…

I’m a runner, run 2x Marathon’s per year. Used to have Whoop and Fitbit Air. The Cirqa feels more premium than the others. It is big, i have a small wrist but still feels very comfy. Although the Garmin Connect app has lots to improve to be near Whoop and Google Health app. Will keep the Cirqa just because of the ecosystem.
