Disappointing Battery Life Leads to Return
on August 29, 2026

Having used a Whoop for a few years, my expectations were high. I was hoping to save on the monthly subscription fee while automatically tracking the key metrics I rely on. Unfortunately, the device fell short in a couple of critical areas. First, the battery life was a major disappointment. With settings configured similarly to my Whoop, the battery lasted under two days—far short of the advertised "up to 10 days." The only way to extend it was to restrict tracking strictly to the evening, which completely defeats the purpose for me. On top of that, connectivity to my bike computer was spotty at best, making the heart rate readout on the head unit pretty inconsistent throughout my rides. Ultimately, I decided to return the Cirqua. I hope these shortfalls are addressed in future updates, as the device has great potential.
I sent this band back immediately. First, I ordered the smaller size because my wrist circumference was in that range, but because the clasp doesn't really come apart, I couldn't get my hand through it. Secondly, I think the sensor device is way too long. I'm sure this will change when the second generation comes out. I'll wait until you get the bugs out.
I’ve been a loyal Garmin customer for years, my bicycles all have Garmin computers, my watch is garmin. This product was rushed, the sleep tracking stopped working after 3 days of use, after waking up it would read that I burned 650 calories , not accurate at all. I waited months for the Cirqa, even returned a Whoop band given to me as a gift., I wanted my Garmin app to handle everything. I have returned the the cirqa band.
I have had my Cirqa for about a month now . I really like it . 4 stars because it seems to disconnect and I have to remove the device and reconnect as if it were a brand new device . A bit of an inconvenience.
