I was very excited to see Garmin came out with this. Unfortunately, it has only proven that Garmin is like the other giant companies and they are releasing products before they actually work at all, and they expect you, the paying customer, to beta test them. This band literally does nothing that it states it is supposed to do! Any measurements that it takes do not get applied to your daily metrics whatsoever. Want to wear it at night when you go to bed? It will not affect your body battery measurements in any way! It’s literal main purpose, and it does not function. The measurements it does take show up at completely different levels than my Fenix shows, making it impossible to know if anything either are doing are accurate. It is supposed to recognize repeated events as well; It does not, and therefore doubles all of your activities in Garmin and anywhere else you have Garmin synced, leaving you to clean them up. I reached out to support over two weeks ago and not a thing has changed. They also, will not contact you; you have to constantly check with them. When you’re wearing a device that is supposed to be measuring your metrics, and all your pages on Garmin connect say “Not enough data,” it really makes you wonder why you would even considered to continue supporting a company that treats their customers like this. I was about to pull the trigger on a Fenix 9 Pro as well, but will definitely be looking into other ecosystems instead. What a waste of time and money. Make a better choice than I did!
[I tried to upload screenshots of zero data from the worthless piece of plastic but this site will not do anything when clicking on the link. Go figure.]
I got this about a month ago. I love it! Its so lightweight and easy to wear all the time and I love the feedback and metrics that it provides on sleep.
I love the versatility of the Garmin CIRQA. At night, I swap my Forerunner 970 for it because it’s so comfortable to sleep in. I also wear it on my bicep during workouts, where it stays out of the way of kettlebells and avoids that restrictive feeling I sometimes get from a heart-rate chest strap. Its comfort, simple design, and one-button activity recording make it a standout for me.
Feels comfortable but battery does not last as long as advertised and underreports awake time when using to track sleep. I like the option to switch from my Fenix 8 to the Cirqa and still compile daily data.
Fitness tracking isn't bad, but the sleep tracking is trash. It records phantom naps, tells me I went to bed and was in "deep sleep" two hours before I go to bed, and fails to capture my multiple awakenings at night. The battery life is also terrible, doesn't last 5 days. Also, I get a weird rash on the wrist I wear it on and need to switch back and forth. Very disappointed.
About 3 weeks in with the band and I’m really enjoying the data tracking. Have the band with a Fenix 6 and the ability to choose primary and secondary is a bonus. Data tracking across both is seamless and battery life is perfect. Coming from a whoop, I expected nothing less in terms of quality and battery life.
