I absolutely love the Opal Mini Pro Nugget Ice Maker! The nugget ice is soft, crunchy, and perfect for drinks or just snacking on by itself. It makes ice quickly and the side tank is such a convenient feature because I don't have to constantly refill the machine. It looks sleek and modern on my countertop, is easy to use, and the ice quality is amazing. This has quickly become one of my favorite appliances, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves nugget ice!

Durable, efficient , quiet ice machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love!!! The opal mini pro+ nugget ice maker for so many reasons! First the app that you connect to is so convenient! It not only alerts you when you’re low on water for the machine but also when you need to clean/descale and when you need a new filter! I also love how you can put it in a schedule from the app and also order everything you need replacement wise . Second ! The speed in which it makes ice is perfect! So much so I had to start filling a bag up to put in the freezer. It took about a full hour the first go around after set up, but after that it was consistently making perfectly textured nugget ice. Lastly The size of the machine is perfect! it’s not huge and taking up an obnoxious amount of space which I like considering my kitchen is small. I would highly recommend if you’re in the market for an ice machine.

I assume it needed time to get cold once set up. It was easy to set up, and the side tank allows for plenty of water storage. The ice is great and very yummy!

Great for Renters!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who rents their home, I have no control over the appliances that are in my kitchen. As a result, I have an older refrigerator that does not have an ice maker, and have to manually make ice every day. This machine is a game changer!
The assembly was relatively easy with the in-app guide. However, I did need to utilize the YouTube video they created for one of the steps. Additionally, I like that the app tells you the status of the machine and when the filter needs to be cleaned. It even allows you to choose the color and brightness of the ice maker!
I enjoy this product on a daily basis and am glad to have it. However, if I were to buy it with my own money, it would need to be at a reduced cost. Otherwise, you might as well just upgrade to a new refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone knows that chewable nugget ice is the superior ice, that’s why this GE Opal Mini Pro Nugget Ice Maker is the perfect addition to everyone’s home. Since it has a side water tank, you also never run out of nugget ice! The mini pro is smaller than the traditional opal pro nugget ice maker so it occupies significantly less space and you can put it just about anywhere. We have ours in our laundry room nearby our drink fridge, so making cold drinks has never been easier. Make sure you download the SmartHQ app before setting this machine up because the initial QR code brings you to a video on how to set up the traditional full size opal pro ice maker and the process is slightly different. After running a clean cycle with bleach water mixed with 2-3 rinse cycles, I was ready to make some nugget ice! Within 15 minutes, I already had a few scoops worth in my ice bin and was able to test it out immediately. This machine seriously changed our iced coffee game and I love having some chewable ice on hand at all times now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this ice maker because it is very easy to use and starts producing ice relatively quickly The nuggets ice has an excellent texture for drinks and maintains a good consistency The side tank is very convenient as it reduces how aften l have to refill the water Plus its modern design looks great in the kitchen and doesn’t take up too much space Overall it offers very good performance and capacity for daily use

Eh I’m not sure about this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings on this one. The ice itself is chewable and it makes ice at a good rate. However, it arrived with zero instructions on how to set it up. You had to scan a QR code to go watch a video, which didn’t show the biggest step - how to connect the hose and the tank! It’s also rather loud for how small it is. Overall I’m not sure I’d pay for it full price.

Perfect crunchy nugget ice
