I have other ultras, currently in use, but not a fold ultra til now, battery is awesome, camera is awesome, software is awesome, phone operates very smoothly,... and opened up, the screen is a ultra high def beautiful 8 inch monster to consume your every moment if you allow.. "I chose" this device as an upgrade and I'm so glad I did... It's a beast!

The device has a premium design, an impressive foldable display, smooth performance, and excellent features. I especially like the versatility of having a large screen when unfolded while still being able to use it as a phone when folded. Overall, it feels fast, modern, and enjoyable to use, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Great Idea terrible implication

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] by far the battery is the biggest disappointment on the phone it'll hold a charge for about 6 to 8 hours if you unfold it you can have that time or actually make it a quarter if you are really using it.
the display when you're looking at it closely is obviously subpar to any other Samsung it does the job. I like the large screen but it feels too small for what it is. The fact that I can't do 3 vertical screens at a time it's really disappointing.
I can't really speak to durability because I have a rock form case so it's more durable that I imagine the phone is the phone is actually too thin my opinion.

the hinge at first was pretty good are the more you open and close the the more you open and close the phone the more noticeable the crease is and that's all I got on that.
performance wise it's incredibly disappointing I'm really upset I switched from my s24 and my s25 to this phone it does not have enough processing power the batteries too low when it gets a little warm doesn't allow you to use any multitasking the phone in itself is so thin that when it does get hot it actually Burns you which leads me to think like is this going to be like a note 7 situation the idea of the phone is very good I'm very upset that they did away with the S Pen to make the phone thinner the phone is already too thin they should include a pen or some kind of case to hold the s pen, a fold without the S Pen is counterintuitive, you have a book but you don't have a pen, it's basically what what are we doing here? you know?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the S24 Ultra since it was on Pre-Order, and loved the phone. With the career I have, I need to have essentially a laptop with em at all times. I was utilizing the multi window function on the previous phone. I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 Ultra due to the demand invreasing for my career. Let me tell you, this was just what I needed! Love this phone, it actually has replaced my lap top as well. Love to use the DeX feature as well! Thank you Samsung!!
