Very pleased overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came from the S22 Ultra, and I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra for the extra RAM and storage for media/gaming. This is my first foldable screen device, so I wanted to reinforced screen layers. The small wave down the fold line is not as visible as other say while media is playing, but for apps in dark mode, it can be somewhat distracting.
So far, I am really enjoying the capabilities of the device. Exploring how my regular apps adapt to the inner screen has been mostly smooth, with only a few having issues after a fresh launch. I do wish that open apps would transfer from the outer to inner screen without needing a relaunch.
An example of one of my main complaints is with Bluetooth connections not dropping after the paired device is off and should no longer be connected. There are many little things like this that I expect to be ironed out with further updates to the system.
My biggest complaint is the size of the camera lens island. The phone NEVER lays flat, and there aren't really any reasonably priced cases to deal with this issue. I would have gladly taken a few mm thicker device for my phone to be able to lay flat with the outer screen facing upwards.

Loving the new Z Fold 8 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned the Z Fold 5 and I can tell you that the new Z Fold 8 Ultra is in a class of it's own. The size of the outer screen puts it on par with most non-foldable phones, but the reduction in weight and thickness is the real win. Pair all of that with the increased battery performance and the reduced crease when opened, and you truly have a phone that is versatile enough to tackle any need.
I'm glad I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 Ultra and even paired it with the new Galaxy Buds4 Pro.

Next level technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold Ultra 8 Ultra for its technological advancement such as Samsung's longstanding innovation with the fold out screen, 200 MP camera, and advanced AI technology such as image enhancement and live translation.
When fully opened, the crease is invisible. When folded, the Z Fold 8 is slightly thicker than a regular cell phone, a great feature for someone like me who typically carries his cell phone in his front pocket.
The integration of live translation through the Samsung ear buds is a game changer for an avid traveler like myself.
Coworkers' and friends' curiosity and accolades validates my choice in choosing the Z Fold 8 Ultra as my new cell phone update. Thanks Samsung for such a great product.

Hands down, this is my daily powerhouse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my ZFold6 to the ZFold8Ultra (pre-order) simply because Samsung has been a very solid manufacturer for many years, their products are always innovating, and because no other company provides a powerful and seamless UI or Launcher. Besides this, there are other aspects such as the ZFold8Ultra weight, size, battery, Samsung Flow, Samsung Cloud, Link to Windows, and of course Samsung Dex, which is what I use paired with a Lapdock, not needing a full laptop, very lightweight, which is also a 10000MA battery to charge my phone. Those features are just a few to name. The AI features are very useful to my social media work and my Real Estate business, and even the interaction with cloud services such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 suite of apps are the best, or 2nd to none. Perhaps it is too technical to the general population, but when I say my 'powerhouse', I really mean it. There is no other mobile device that I would put my money into other than Samsung. Thanks Samsung for keeping up with our needs.

Easy to use

I stay connected to my Grandkids playing games, which is so much easier with not only the larger screen but also the graphics are amazing. I look forward to learning something new on this phone almost daily.

Excellent foldable phone

It's actually easier to hold when closed than the S26 ultra. Except for the zoom the camera is just as good as the s26 ultra. The fold is super thin when opened and has plenty of battery life.

After watching several hidden tips and features on YouTube, I was hooked and headed to the store. It's sleek, slim, fast and at the top of the phone game. love every thing that this phone has to offer. It's great for personal, work and multitasking with caregiver's duties. Samsung, you did it! To sum it up, it's pure excellence!
