I traded my Galaxy S24 Ultra for the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I am learning that this Ultra is not like the ULtra I traded. There are several things I prefer on the Z-fold that I did not get on the S24 Ultra. Both phone are great. But, I am enjoying something new. And, when unfolded, the larger screen is amazing. I have no regrets about this exchange. Only time will tell if the exchange will be permanent.

I'm downright impressed with how this phone feels in the hand. The outside screen is not much smaller than an S26 Ultra, and it's about as thin. But when you open it, you get a tablet-sized screen. The inside crease is definitely way better than it used to be.

Better battery life, more vibrant screen, multi tasking machine. I didnt think it'd be THAT much of an upgrade from the Fold 7, but it blows it out if the water in every way. Just disable the Bixby, and use Gemini. And the cameras are great to.

I'm satisfied with the new phone, but it's still pretty much the same phone as it was before. Just a little bit skinnier. It doesn't feel like there are any overwhelming new features of whatsoever. The last one was solid, and I probably just could have kept that instead of improving to this one.
