amazing phone for pretty much everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 simply for it's shorter stature, and the fact it's a small tablet when open. It's light it's fast, and fun to use daily. I couldn't be happier with my pick. Only hope is next Gen fold 8 gets better cameras.

This phone is so customizable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in lavender. It's such a pretty color and I love the way this phone works overall. You can customize anything, and I love that about this phone. I love the larger inside screen and the smallness of the front screen. It's a great phone all around.

Love this phone
on September 7, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 as I love the new size and shape of the device, I moved from a fold 6. Watching videos even when closed is basically the same size as the Fold 6 when opened. The squat form factor and how incredibly thin it is makes it a delight to carry around compared to the bulky fold 6.
I got the carbon case for free with my purchase, which is great too. I refused to put a case on my fold 6 as any case I bought made the phone a brick. This still makes the fold 8 slim even with the case on.
The only negative I have is the loss of the telephoto camera. I hate the hole punch cut out selfie camera on the inside screen. I've never used a front facing camera with the fold open. It's literally never used. I'd rather do away with that and have the telephoto back.

Best fold ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone is amazing! The new form factor is great. I previously opened my Fold 4 and 6 all the time. I now use the outer screen so much. The added real estate is amazing. The battery life is other worldly also

The Fold I've been waiting for!
on September 7, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a fold since the fold 5 and this fold 8 is by far the best foldable I've ever used! Out of any fold on the market, I chose the fold 8 for so many reasons. From the amazing new form factor to its blazing fast speed, the fold 8 is top notch. The build quality is unmatched, it's super light and thin and feels great in your hand! This is the most useful coverscreen on a foldable and the crease is almost nonexistent. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is curious about a folding phone but hasn't tried one yet. This is the fold that will change your mind about foldables forever.

Galaxy Fold 8
on September 6, 2026
Posted by: Samsung4Life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8, it was a total game-changer for me, and the main reason boils down to one massive design fix: the width of the cover screen.
Previous foldables (Z Fold 7) always felt like I was texting on a cramped TV remote when closed, forcing you to unfold the phone just to do basic tasks. But Samsung completely fixed that with the Z Fold 8's wider, passport-style form factor.
The outer display measures 5.5 inches with a wide 16:10 aspect ratio, and it completely transforms daily use. It is wide and natural enough that I barely ever have to open the phone for standard everyday tasks. Typing out quick messages, checking emails, scrolling social media, and launching apps can all be done comfortably right from the front screen just like a regular candy-bar phone.
When you I do want to open it up, you get a gorgeous, nearly crease-free 7.6-inch inner display that makes media consumption and multitasking a dream. But the real win of the Z Fold 8 is that you no longer have to unfold it just to get through your morning notifications. If you've been holding off on a foldable because the outer screens felt too narrow and awkward, this is the one that changes everything.

Great new shape
on September 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several folds and flip and I must say the best part about switching to the fold 8 is the new shape. The short and wide body feels good to hold and the weight is very exceptional. Hopefully down the line Samsung invests more in this form and keeps improving.

Gets too hot during normal use
on September 5, 2026
Posted by: CrashVega
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose Samsung because I’ve owned several Galaxy devices over the years and have generally liked the displays, features, multitasking, and overall ecosystem. Unfortunately, my experience with this device has been disappointing because it gets noticeably hot during normal everyday use.
I use my phone for social media, streaming, messaging, browsing, photos, navigation, and other typical daily tasks. I don’t expect a phone in this price range to become uncomfortably warm doing basic things. The heat has made me concerned about long-term reliability and has taken away from what otherwise could be a great experience.
I’ve owned many Samsung phones, so I’m familiar with how these devices normally perform. This one does not feel right to me, and the overheating issue is the main reason I’m giving it 1 star.
I chose Samsung because of my past positive experiences with Galaxy devices, but unfortunately this device has not lived up to those expectations.
