[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of the passport style foldable since the original Pixel fold. I've owned a number of foldables over the years, but in truth a large phone that opened into an awkwardly-shaped tablet was always a bit... compromised. Needless to say, this generation I chose the Z Fold 8. Now I have a small, conveniently shaped, delightfully pocketable personal device that opens into a small tablet. Don't get me wrong, I'm still making compromises (most notably in the camera department) but I'm much happier with the fold 8 than I have been with my phone in quite some time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has been an awesome upgrade. I love having the convenience of a regular phone when it’s folded, but being able to open it up and have a much larger screen when I need it is a game changer.
The larger display is great for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and getting things done. I also really like how easy it is to run multiple apps at the same time. The phone feels premium, fast, and well-built, and the overall design is impressive.
The cameras take great pictures, the performance is smooth, and the battery has been more than capable for my everyday use. I also appreciate all the features and customization options that Samsung includes.
If you're looking for something different from a traditional smartphone and want a device that can do more, I definitely recommend the Galaxy Z Fold 8. It’s a premium phone, but the versatility makes it worth it for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 represents a major paradigm shift for Samsung's foldable lineup, and it might just be the most enjoyable, perfectly balanced folding phone on the market today. By ditching the tall, narrow design of its predecessors in favor of a wider, more passport-like form factor, Samsung has created a device that feels completely natural to use both open and closed. Here is why the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is a triumph in foldable design: The "Goldilocks" Form Factor The most striking change is the new aspect ratio. With a 16:10 cover screen and a 4:3 inner display, the Z Fold 8 feels exactly like a compact, highly usable slab phone when shut, and a perfect mini-tablet when open. Weighing in at an incredibly light 201 grams and measuring just 9.7mm thick when closed, it is phenomenally pocketable. It completely solves the "awkward front screen" issue that plagued older generations. The Disappearing Crease Samsung has drastically improved the inner display mechanics. Thanks to the new Flex Titanium display structure—which layers a titanium-alloy film with a titanium plate under the OLED panel—the crease is nearly non-existent. It is significantly less visible and tactile than ever before, making reading or watching content on the 7.6-inch inner display incredibly immersive. Multitasking Masterclass The wider screen geometry makes the Z Fold 8 a productivity powerhouse. You can comfortably run up to three apps side-by-side without them feeling overly cramped.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the fold 6 loved the phone but mainly used it unfolded because the front screen was too narrow. Now with fold 8 I tend to use the front screen more then actually opening it up and unfolding. Front screen is much more wide and it allow you to easily type on it. It's nearly the perfect size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used many galaxy phones and this one has been the best so far the wide has been a wonderful experience though and though
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When started using this device, though I would definitely role back to the fold 7 or fold 8 ultra. But after started using, it became obvious that i will not role back. Inner display feels good for viewing videos and reading something. I chose to upgrade to next version. I sometimes experience lag or unresponsiveness in some applications like maps(front display), chrome keyboard and tabs unresponsive while in inner display. Apart from these issues overall experience is great. Battery life is too good when compared to previous version of folds.
