Best choice hands down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd ZFold, and by far this is absolutely the best one so far. I chose the ZFOLD 8 over the ultra and I'm super stoked that I did. There is one downside to this device..... I can't seem to put it down for long. Very addictive!!

Love the phone

But the exterior screen got a giant deep scratch the very first day just by placing the phone down on my night stand and desk at work. Baby it and am extremely careful. It's my own fault but never had any issues with any other samsungs ever so may be a screen issue. Also no stylus support sucks, the cameras aren't the best for the price point and it gets really hot doing basic multitasking or app updates. But the form factor is amazing and the phone is terrific overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I've been a loyal Samsung mobile phone user since the late 90's and have always enjoyed my devices, including all the Folds and 6 of the Flips (I use 2 phones personal and work). When talk of the Fold 8 Ultra and Fold 8 started, I knew my primary (personal) device would be the Fold 8. The device fits my needs and continues Samsung's streak of highly functioning, simplistic, future-foward mobile devices. I chose the Fold 8 because I wanted a passport style/size folding device that would fit my pockets and have the capability of a larger screen when opened. After a month with the Fold 8, it's the right choice, with my only concern being the lack of S-Pen functionality, although I have found a workaround. The "Trade-in" program makes the cost effective for me as well. I am to this point, still a satisfied customer and love my Fold 8!

Nice phone, some limits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone for work due to needing more space to read documents and work spreadsheets. It has functioned fine. I also use it to watch videos and the picture is great.
If there was one complaint I would make, it centers around the camera. It always defaults to the "1" size and I would prefer it default to the ".6" and allow me to adjust from the lowest. It also defaults into action shot which I don't ike because it takes longer for it to focus. Keep in mind though, this could all be user error ! Lol
Overall a great phone and because it opens up and allows for split screen, it is a multi-use beast!!

Everything feels incredibly smooth, and the display quality is truly impressive for all my favorite shows. I am so happy that I chose the fold 8 because it fits perfectly into my busy lifestyle. It is easily the most versatile piece of tech I have ever owned. Using this screen every day has completely changed the way I stay connected on the go.

Perfect size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 7, I chose the Z Fold 8 for the form factor. The size is perfect for business and pleasure. The form factor is so satisfying that I can go long periods of time without opening it to the larger display. Even though I'm constantly using this phone, the battery lasts me the whole work day. I love how firm the phone feels when you open and how it snaps close. The display is beautiful and bright. I was initially concerned about the camera since it lacked a telephoto lens, but honestly I haven't missed it yet. The pictures are really good and even better when you dial in the camera settings. I'm extremely pleased with my decision and I'm still excited about my purchase every time I pick up the phone. It's really fast and smooth, even during screen rotations. Texting is not as difficult as I thought it would be. I can use one hand if I desire, but using two hands to text makes me feel like im fast. I will definitely stick with this Fold 8 for a long time.
