Easy to set up and use; great picture

In just minutes we were watching the TV. Just plug in your games, sound system, etc. and you are done. Then just adjust the sound and picture the way you like ( easy to follow instructions ) and relax.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Great TV for price range

This was my first purchase of an HDTV. I did not have any brand or specific tv in mind. I was looking for the 40-47' range with the 1080p and 120hz. This tv was the perfect size with specs that I was looking for in my price range. It looked amazing in the store and compared to the samsung and sony (42') it was next to it had just as good of a picture quality.
The picture quality has been amazing and the volume is good. I do not have a sound bar for this tv and I do not think I am going to buy one either. However i do not watch movies on this as of now, mostly tv shows and sporting events.
The setup was quick and easy and so far I am very happy customer. Overall it was a great buy for the price and has exceed my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in 2011. Have gamed for long hours and watched many hours of Netflix etc. This TV is still running perfectly like the first day I bought it. Couldn't ask for anything better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lasted me 12 years- was a solid tv, appreciated it for what it was. Didn’t need/want a smart tv at the time since my peripherals were better than anything any smart tv could provide. Upgraded to the LG 50QNED80 today. Here’s hoping to get another 12 years out of the product.

This TV is worth buying. Especially, for the price. Very light, easy to set up and use. The picture and sound quality is excellent. Everything about this TV is superb. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

The 47LS4500 has a super screen and great features. The contrast is sharp and HD truly comes alive. Best flat screen I have ever owned.

We've had it for @ 1-mth. Great tv, we have a smart-DVD player so we did not need a smart tv, and this fits in perfect. Good for movies and video games. Only a few small complaints as the remote is sub-par (tiny buttons and their placement), the on-screen menus seem outdated, and it only has two HDMIs...but for the $$ I overlooked them b/c when the movies going you don't use the remote anymore and its all about the picture, which is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is our third or fourth LG television and they just keep getting better. Easy setup, lightweight and fine picture quality with excellent sound quality.
