Awesome LED LCD TV for the Price... BUT...

Ok, so unfortunately I had to return my first set back to the retailer because on the third day, hundreds of horizontal gray lines appeared on the entire screen on all inputs, I think due to poor shippers handling. Regardless, the situation was taken care of.
For now, the new set is great. Great brightness, amazing picture, size to money ratio is great, just slight cloudiness on black screens due to edge lit design.
Also, my biggest concern is with the LACK of TRUMOTION setting. I see no where to adjust whether TruMotion is on or off... and for a 120hz television advertising TruMotion, it sure seems like it isn't any better than a 60hz since I still see motion lag when playing games. I know in the past LG TV's had an option to turn the setting on high and you get that really crisp clear "Soap Opera Effect," unfortunately this set does not even come close to producing it. I loved turning that on when watching certain fast movies/sports/gaming, now I can't even get that anymore even though Customer Service Reps say it is always on when clearly (or should I say unclearly) it is not and there is still alot of motion blur.
I know alot of people complaining about the same thing, so hopefully LG realizes this ASAP and addresses the issue like with their LM series mishap accidently leaving TruMotion out of their firmware for those TVs.
Until then, those are my only Cons. Again, great bare minimum LED LCD for the price with an excellently lit picture, just wish TruMotion had a setting to actually turn it on or off as having that clear fast picture was my number one concern when deciding on TV's.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

I researched LED HDTVs for weeks before committing to a purchase and did not originally choose the 47LS4500. After experiencing problems with my other choice and returning it, I decided to give the LG a shot since my old LCD (of 5 years and still kicking) is an LG. I couldn't be happier with the 47LS4500 after fine-tuning the settings for my viewing environment and complementing it with a behind-set LED bias lighting kit.
Pros: * LED edge-lit with an awesome 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio. * Unbelievably thin at only 1.4" deep. * Beautifully sharp and clean 1080p HD picture. * Good sound from the built-in speakers. * Incredibly affordable!
Cons: *Only two HDMI ports. * Ports face directly out back, versus facing out the side, making it difficult to wall-mount.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, incredibly thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tv for about a month and I still am amazed at the high quality of video no matter what the source is. The tv was very easy to set up , the parameters were easy to glide they. The only thing that bothers me is that I can't sync the audio with the video. There is a latency with the audio. I have tried to adjust it but the audio lags behind the video. Is there a fix for this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have owned this model since 10/30/2013. This tv has stood the test of time very well. We have had no major issues with it at all. There are only two hdmi ports, which leaves those with multiple devices in a pickle. The audio is comparable to other TVs on the market. That is to say, the audio is a bit flat & would benefit from the use of a sound bar. the picture (the reason we buy TVs anyway) is great for a 6-8 year old model. The ONLY issue i have noticed is some severe motion blur & static when scenes have a large amount of noise (snow, sandstorms, lightning, anything with lots of motion). That is my only complaint. There is no banding, dimming issues, or any other screen flaws outside of what I mentioned above. It is also great for gaming.
Pros: Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Bang for the Buck

Bought online on black Friday to replace old Sony 27" XBR. Arrived in perfect condition, excellent packing. Very good instructions. Excellent picture for stills and scenes with moderate motion. When camera and subject are both moving you will notice some slight but acceptable motion artifact. The intelligent sensor usually correctly selects the right brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. settings based on probable scene content. Sports such as football look great with surprizingly little motion artifact. Picture is automatically dimmed a little too much in a fully darkened room, keep a dim light burning for best picture. Looks great in a brightly lit or moderately darkened room. ROKU 2 box works great with set, has excellent search features and is cheaper than a smart TV combo, but use a wired Ethernet connection if possible for best results. Go to Fry's for a $15 HDMI switcher if you need more than 2 HDMI inputs.
