Not easy to use

Not as good as a pop socket if you have thick fingers. Just not easy to use. But the product quality is good if you have smaller fingers.

You pop it out but it doesn’t stay. So you turn it around and crank it up so high to where you feel like it’s going to break off, just to have a tiny piece hold it in place for a few seconds and that’s just if you want to set your phone down. I want to hold the pop socket so I don’t dropMy phone because i have tiny hands. not to set it to watch stuff. Then when you want it stuck back into its “slim” state it more than half the time won’t even stay flat to the phone it’s like after you use the stand portion a few times it then is so bent it won’t click back into lace on the phone.

Weaker outer magnet

For anybody that uses the outer magnet, it is much weaker than the 4th generation. Found this out when my fold 8 went flying off my magsafe ring I was holding that was installed over the ohsnap.This is the same magsafe ring I have used over a 4th generation ohsnap for over a year now on a few different phones, including this fold 8. Yet today sadly I was holding it and went to point with that hand and the slight jerk sent my brand new phone to the ground. I assumed I did something wrong, like moved way faster than I thought or my magsafe ring wasn'tone properlyfor some reason. But nope. Got home and tested it on my bed and it comes right off this 5th generation. Tested it on my fridge and moving the door fast also moved the phone, showing another way that it's much weaker. So just be aware if you use this under any other magsafe accessories or plan to put it on workout equipment/fridge the magnet is much weaker. I got extremely lucky that only my poor case and screen protector were damaged. It could have been much worse.

I saw the online ad again and again before making the purchase, so I had a pretty good expectation of what's coming. But when I started using it on a daily basis I was still surprised by the quality and attention to details! Bravo!

The first thing I noticed about the product is how it sits nearly flat against the device. Also the magnets are very strong as I've had no issue of my grip coming off without my intention of removing it. Lastly, the colors available for various device combinations is awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weak magnets on new version

I have both the original Snap Grip with the two-sided adhesive backing and the new “magnet-only” version. I purchased the new version for my iPhone 18 Pro, while the original is still on my iPhone 16 Pro.The difference in magnetic strength when attaching to MagSafe accessories is dramatic. The original Snap Grip has an incredibly strong connection, while the new magnet-only version is noticeably weaker. I’ve had the new one fall off my car mount several times simply from hitting a bump in the road.For comparison, even on the roughest roads, I have never had the original Snap Grip move or come close to falling off. I really wanted to like the new magnet-only version, but the significantly weaker magnetic connection is a major issue for me, especially when using it with a car mount.
