Mage case needed

I ordered because my pop socket kept falling off due to the adhesive failing. This one does not work with my case so I used the adhesive adapter which does not stick at all. The magnet is strong but it falls off constantly due to bad adhesive.

Only really for iphones

I like the design but it really only works for iPhones. If you have an android it doesnt stick well. Even if you clean the surface first. I dropped my phone and the whole thing came off.

Can’t Stand It

Very slim and good magnetic hold, but feels flimsy and very difficult to stand. OK for landscape orientation but really poor for vertical portrait orientation. Sorry I didn’t get the one with the kickstand.

Tore my leather case.

Sliding the grip off as described in this website caused the metal magnets to tear the PD leather case I bought for my phone. I felt the magnetic pass-through wasn’t strong enough for my car mount so would need to remove every time I charged in car as well as at night. Grip itself is just ok, a bit uncomfortable unfolded but impressively low profile.

Worse and worse for Androids

I'm an android phone user. I bought my first one on Kickstarter in 2020. It lasted multiple years. In 2023 I got a new phone, I bought the latest ohsnap, (era 3) nbd. It lasted less than 1 year, I used the warranty, I get a 4th gen. It lasts a short while, I move on I try other brands. I come back and try the latest version again (gen 5? 2025). It doesn't work. I get a replacement. It also doesn't work. Over the years I turned quite a few friends on to ohsnap, and the ones with iPhones are all thrilled, and still buying new ones, with the stand now, etc. It appears that oh snap has just abandoned Android users in all but name. Oh and I still have the magnet grip in my car cause when I got a new car in 2023 when I was in my "just super glue the ohsnap back on when it fails, cause even without the spin function it's still the best option" etcJust mad. That's all.

It’s nice that it can be easily removed but I find it annoying that I have to remove it every time I want to use my MagSafe charger. It’s also not as comfortable as I thought it would be.

Never going back to popsocket

This is my second snapgrip! I got this one to match my new iPhone 18 and it’s just beautiful. The color matches perfectly, and offsets my velvet caviar case perfectly. I love these grips because they aren’t bulky at all. They let my phone slide easily into my pocket without being chunky. It doesn’t force my fingers apart like popsockets do. And best of all, I can still use MagSafe phone mounts in my car and home without having to remove the grip because they are magnetic! I love these, they are solid and don’t break easy. I’ve hard my first one for months now and it’s still going strong. I love the color variations too.
