Won’t stay closed

I like the look of the grip and how strong the magnet is but I do have a couple issues with it. First it seems when I use a magsafe charger through the grip, which was the reason I got it in the first place, it seems the phone charges much slower then with out the grip on. The phone also gets really hot. Another issue i’m having and it could just be a defective one is the grip often times won’t lay flat like it’s supposed to. Sometimes the arms fold the wrong way so I have to manually fold them correctly. Even when I do that it won’t lay flat sometimes and stays popped up. I bought a 2nd one that doesn’t seem to have that problem so maybe I just got a defective one.

Too much of a good thing

This is the best option currently on the market, but it suffers from trying to be too thin. It doesnt need to be, and it would be a better product if it werent. It's twice as thin as it needs to be, and for that it's always going to feel a bit cramped for a big guy. I'd prefer it if opened a bit taller and wider and had more spring to it. More metal, less plastic. That's what I want. An OhSnap! XL. But they've trapped themselves in the space of being the thinnest. We wanted thin, but "thin enough" was a long time ago.

Misalignment

The idea was good but if/when the with the way the grip collapses- if it ever becomes misaligned 1 time (like it did for me) its impossible to get back to normal. Its too expensive for me to justify buying it

Not what it’s hyped up to be

It doesn’t stay in the stand mode all that well, I had it for 2 days and the round part that pops up would go back down to be flat. So I couldn’t use it on my wireless mount.

I was very happy to see that this grip has a thin profile for my Samsung zFlip 8. No adapter needed since it has the magnetic back. Stays thin when its collapsed. Like that I can still fit the phone in my pocket.

Flimsy and doesn’t close properly

Will be returning this flimsy phone grip. The grip part looks and feels cheap and like it will break if holding without supporting the phone at the same. Also the folding mechanism of the grip is flawed. I tested the grip in box and opened/closed it, but sometimes when closing it the grips don’t fold down correctly and won’t close. Over time this will most likely break. For the price of this cheap piece of plastic and weak magnets, I am unimpressed. Will be going back to Popsocket!!

I have tried so many similar products and nothing compares to these as far as function, durability and style. I have been using ohsnap! for several years now and have never had issues with them wearing out or breaking. Ive gotten a total of three just to switch up when new colors are released and the quality has been consistent. With the size of phones these days and my small hands, I seriously could not use my phone without this grip. 10/10 recommend.
