I have the smaller sling bag by Tumi, and I just needed something bigger. I bought this, and holy moly, it is massive! I can fit my iPad with a case, my book, my water bottle, and all my accessories in it and it zips up just fine. the only thing I would say is negative is that it doesn’t transform into sling mode very well, it’s pretty huge and it’s too tight to really do that effectively. So I keep it in backpack mode. The other thing is the smaller inside pockets are at an awkward depth, so it's awkward to put smaller things in. still, I can make it work, and I don’t regret my purchase at all. if it has the quality and durability of the smaller bag, which it looks like it does, it is definitely a keeper.

My First Ever Tumi

A good aesthetic design and very practical in use as a backpack rather than as a sling. The sling option with straps fully extended sits higher on my back/front (whichever way it’s used) than my Coach version. Adjusting the straps while on is also a bit of an effort as both a backpack and sling. The design of the side panels also allows for ease of unknown entry for pick pockets.

I wish there was a wider version of this sling bag

It’s a really nice sling bag, I had to return it because it’s not wide enough for my 12.9” iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. I wish there was a wider version of this sling, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
My other request is if they would put an additional compartment on the main section (where you’re supposed to put your tablet) like a compartment with a zipper (I’ve seen other slings having that). The other thing (like someone else pointed out) the zippers of the other two compartments do not close all the way, there’s some gap. Other than that the bag is very nicely built. Tumi please make a wider version of this sling so I can buy it to carry my bigger iPad.

Absolutely brilliant. Exactly what I was looking for. Fits an 11 inch iPad, water bottle, glasses, every day kit, with room to spare. Can even fit a 14 inch MacBook. it has become my perfect every day pack. Thank you Tumi!
