Great convertible shoulder/backpack item for minimalist travelers

I loved this shoulder convertible backpack/bag. The only downside to this bag is that the shoulder split-able straps do not stay well secured in the shoulder sling position. Otherwise, this is great little travel bag for minimalist who like to have a tablet and carry items through an airport or vacation.

Sleek, elegant, holds MacBook .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I travel alot and prefer carrying a compact sling bag over one shoulder. This one can hold my MacBook (tight fit though). The three compartments are adequate. The side gear loops are mostly for show.. Very elegant with superb quality for the upscale airlines traveler who wants to splurge a bit.

Attractive, Not Durable

Reviewing after one year of regular daily use.
I bought this bag for durability and longevity. Initially the quality appeared to be great but I’ve had bags that aren’t anywhere near this league holding up much better over time.

Pros:
Attractive.
Great for light occasional use.
Fairly durable (not the best, I’ve had inexpensive bags that have been much more durable)

Cons:
Plastic tabs that hold straps together can/will snag and ruin your clothes when using as a backpack.
Zipper pulls/metal hardware losing paint.
Strap broke (nylon pulled out from top leather anchor).
Nylon flap material fraying at top (under strap where the D anchor sits).

I recently used the Tumi Knight Sling Backpack during my trip to the Czech Republic and Poland, and it turned out to be the perfect travel companion. this is a great looking smaller backpack for being on the go. Although it's small, it holds my macbook, which is a great plus. It also matches my dufffle bag, so it's perfect for weekend getaways.
