Great bag but short strap for tall guys

Wonderful pack and I love it other than the strap in sling mode the is still a few inches short if you are a taller guy. This makes using it in sling mode a real,pain.

Great Sling! It’s not meant to be a computer bag people!

One theme with all these reviews that seems to repeat itself is people asking for larger so they can fit a tablet or a laptop. The intent of this was not for that! It is primarily to be something more in between not specifically for a tablet or laptop. Perfect for a short hop where you don’t need to bring those or for an every day pack for those who don’t lug our computers around for that we have plenty of other two me backpacks to choose from. I actually have at least four different ones. I also have a very small sling and a midsize sling. My midsize Has small side compartments and will not fit a water bottle on the side. This one has some really large side compartments and a big opening in the middle. Depending on how long a flight I’m on or where I’m going determines which backpack I am going to bring or sling I am going to bring what I love about this is it has plenty of room for a sling along with the side compartments as mentioned above. The one thing I absolutely hate about this is even my smallest sling has a zipper compartment That I can store some cash or other things in and not worry about it spilling out. That is the one thing they missed is a zippered compartment. But I absolutely love the idea of turning it from a sling to a backpack because there are some things and activities were being just a sling does not work.

Straps too Short

I had to return this item because the straps are too short for use as a sling or as a backpack. The pack itself would be a perfect fit for me. Regrettably I had to return it and I am still looking for a suitable sling with longer straps.

Almost great...fits tablets, just needed to be 1 liter larger to fit laptops

Tumi almost knocked it out of the park with this bag...almost.
Here's where they got it right: the ability to go from sling to backpack with their innovative magnetic straps...just amazing. The outside zipper pockets, one specifically for water bottles with its internal waterproof material so you don't have to worry about condensation or spills, just wipe it clean...and they even made a small drain hole at the bottom.
The clean, sharp look of the bag with the ability to personalize with monogram and like most Tumi bags it has the internal tracker built-in.
Here's where they got it wrong: the designers made the conscious choice to create this bag knowing it would only fit tablets...this will not fit a 13" laptop or larger. Even a large tablet with a keyboard case is going to have a tight squeeze into this bag and probably need to be inserted diagonally. The designers simply needed to make this bag 1 liter larger and it would have at least accomodated a 13" laptop comfortably.
