So far, not so good. I bought this as a gift for the family at Christmas. It seems fairly basic and easy to use, but I've had a couple of issues early on. First. I made ice cream the first night and it turned out OK...some testing and improvements that I can make will improve the cream itself...but, upon the second use, IT DIDN'T TURN ON!!! I had to unplug it and plug it back in a couple of times before it finally kicked back on...hoping that was a weird one-off. The other issue that I've had was the actual blade popping off a couple of times...Even after I let the ice cream mixture sit/warm for 10+ minutes...When that happens, it can also be very difficult to get unlocked or open. I had to fidget with it for 5 minutes one time to get it unlocked. I will try to update this review as I have more time with the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than store bought ice cream

I recently bought the Ninja Creami XL, and it has completely transformed my dessert game! This machine is a powerhouse, effortlessly turning a variety of ingredients into smooth, creamy ice cream. The non-stick pints are easy to clean, and the multiple settings allow for perfect customization.
This was the perfect addition to our family christmas sleepover. It’s also a bit loud, but that’s a small price to pay for homemade ice cream that’s ready in minutes. Overall, the Ninja Creami XL is a fantastic investment for any ice cream lover. Buy extra pints if entertaining a large crowd as your bases has to freeze for a min of 24hrs, Highly recommend still, as it's all worth it!!

Makes good ice-cream!

Does what it is advertised to do. You do have to run the ice-cream base through several cycles to get to soft-serve consistency. Have only made ice-cream so far. Recipe book is a good start so experiment! It's noisy so don't run it at nap time.

I have just bought this after reading lots of reviews but I can’t say I love it. It’s fiddly to attach the bowl and the paddle. Getting the bowl in and out is hard. I made sorbet and it’s very icy. For the price not impressed

Cool product but I bought it as a Christmas present and the box showed up to my house saying “ninja Creami” all over the outside of the box, so it ruined the surprise

So loud it scared my dog

This machine is very, very loud. All it does is stir. You have to plan for your dessert more than 24 hours in advance. We sent it back.
