First let me start by saying that i loooove this product….when it works.
I’m now going on my fourth lid/blade and I am growing tired of it.
Really bad design mechanism “holds” the blade in place…until it doesn’t.
Needs a redesign.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes excellent ice cream, Gelato, etc. Filled up all five containers when I first got it, put in freezer, was taking my first bite. Was enjoying that first bite so much, didn't notice i was in a Tornado and roof was coming off house. Lol. Put lid on, they all came with me to the hotel, i was determined to eat them after waiting for machine. Over a year later, new home, I still am enjoying the ice cream 🍦.
Tried for the first time tonight after prepping pints more than 24 hours ago. I verified that my freezer is indeed within the temperature stated in the book. But even after more than 24 hours, the ice cream came out liquid. Thinner than a milk shake even. Back in the freezer to harden again. Tried the second one with a mix-in. This one was still too thin to scoop, but slightly thicker than the first. I just shoved some chopped peanut butter cups into the middle. Couldn’t scoop out the center like the directions state because it’s too liquidy. Despite selecting “full,” the mix-in cycle only mixed the top half of the pint. No candy made it to the bottom. We ate some of this one anyway, but put the rest back in the freezer to harden more. I’m guessing that my freezer needed to be even colder even though it was 8-9 degrees, which is within the specified range. I bumped my upright freezer down in temp and will try again. Disappointed because I got this on the review of my brother who loves his. If you try this, make sure your freezer is below 0° to ensure it freezes extra hard, I guess? That’s what I’m going to try and hope it works. As for the volume…it isn’t even as loud as my Ninja blender, so I’m not upset by how loud it is. I wish the recipes were more fool proof. The other issue I had was that with cold milk and cream, the sugar and cocoa powder wouldn’t dissolve at all when mixing. It just clumped up. I had to heat the chocolate ice cream mixture up in order to get it to dissolve the sugar and cocoa. Then I had to let it cool again before sticking in the freezer.

I've been using it almost everyday so far and I love it. I've was originally going to get the Ninja Slushi but when I realized I could still make slushies, frozen coffee, and milkshakes on top of ice cream and sorbet with the Creami, I realized this would be the better purchase for me. However if you want your frozen drinks more instantly, the Slushi may be better.
Machine does exactly what it says it will. I've tried everyone of the settings and I must say I am thoroughly impressed! The Gelato is so decadent and the iced coffee feature has saved me so much money! We have healthy ice cream every night and I'm so happy with the purchase!
I just got a Ninja Creami Deluxe for Xmas. I wanted to be able to make ice cream, slushies and other things at home. I’m still new to the game as I’ve only used it a few times so I’m still learning how to do it all and what ingredients to use, etc. But so far it’s been going good and I like it.
