I made the Switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well ladies and gents! I made the switch back to being an android user again after 11 years. I must say im impressed with the operating system, fast and fun to drive! Very intuitive if you're tech savvy and there's is so much customization! The Z Fold8 is most impressive to me for the design and how compact this baby is. Its small, but packs a big punch when you open it up to watch videos or even read a book. I did it only give it 4 stars though only and I'll tell you why. The battery life... it's definitely disappointing. I do have the battery save mode on, but after a full day of work and not being on my phone a lot the battery is down more than my other phone would have been. Hopefully they can fix this because otherwise it would have made me feel like it's 5 star worthy. All in all its a fun little device, fits in my pockets or small purse ..... absolutely love it!

The foldable experience is revolutionary and I believe this time around it really does feel smoothly all ways possible. From hardware to software features, this Galaxy fold 8 feels futuristic and ahead of its time. I forget I'm holding a foldable on how this it feels.

New form design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorter height and wider width is beneficial for a better typing experience and helps with the viewing of videos. Samsung like any other Manufacturer is in control the third-party developers in the optimization of their programs. That has to understood with not thinking each Manufacturer is in control everything just because it's their company's product you're purchasing. Thanks!

I Chose the Z Fold 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a college student, I chose the Z Fold 8 and it has completely changed how I get through my day. I can have my notes open next to a browser window without feeling cramped. The hinge feels sturdy and the crease is barely noticeable once you're using it. Battery life easily gets me through a full day of lectures and work. Highly recommend if you want a phone that doubles as a mini tablet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 after leaving behind my Galaxy S24 Ultra, which was an incredible phone in its own right. I was honestly hesitant to make the switch because the S24 Ultra did almost everything I could ask for, but the Fold8 has made me realize how useful a larger screen can be in everyday life.
The biggest difference is the flexibility. I can use it like a normal phone when I want something quick and compact, then open it up when I need a much larger display for multitasking, browsing, watching videos, or handling everyday tasks. The larger inner screen has quickly become something I find myself using far more than I expected.
The Fold8 also feels incredibly refined. It is thin, fast, responsive, and feels much more natural to use than I expected from a foldable. Samsung has managed to make the experience feel less like owning a phone with a folding screen and more like having two devices in one.
Leaving my S24 Ultra behind was a big decision, but I chose the Fold8 because I wanted something genuinely different rather than simply upgrading to another traditional smartphone. After using it, I can confidently say the Fold8 feels like a major change in how I use my phone, not just another upgrade.
