Love the new form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy I chose the Fold 8 for phone and daily driver. The slim design of the old folds was inconvenient and something I couldn't wait to get way from! 1 week in and so far the new wide body is amazing. Great for you tube and shoet form content from the front screen but even better when you have the option of opening up the phone for the bigger screen. The quality of the phone build is top notch and the thinness of it makes it feel like it's from the future. The only issues I've had with it are that some of the apps are not optimized for this new form factor yet so sometimes things are cut off or controls are awkward. That's just software though so I expect these nuances will be optimized out in the future by developers. 10/10 would recommend the fold 8, the experience takes a little getting used to but it's such a different feel from the slim folds and typing jow is no longer an exercise in patience!

Exciting and different

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchases the Z Fold8 after seeing some YouTube videos on it and it was the first time I was ever intrigued by a foldable phone. I absolutely loved my S25 Ultra and was not looking to move from it but like I said the Z Fold8 really caught my attention. It's a great and fun foldable phone. No regrets so far!

Samsung completely nailed the display proportions this time around—it feels natural whether it's closed in your hand or opened up flat. Video quality is top-tier, with insanely sharp detail and vibrant colors that make content pop off the screen.
The way this phone handles different desktops and app scaling is incredible. Having full edge-to-edge content fill the whole screen without awkward spacing makes watching media and running apps feel so much more immersive. Every app responds instantly and fills the canvas cleanly.
What impresses me most is the seamless transition between all three different desktop environments. Moving from the outer cover screen straight into a full layout on the main display happens effortlessly with zero stutter or lag. Being able to customize each desktop for distinct setups makes it feel like carrying three powerhouses in one device. Easily Samsung's best work yet.

I thought I would miss the size of my Z Flip 7 but I have the best of both worlds! I also have more work space to multi task when the phone is opened. So that makes the Fold 8 the perfect phone!!
