The real magic is the seamless transition between the cover display and the unfolded inner screen. I'll start checking quick personal updates or messages on the go, then unfold to the massive, stunning main display to plan travel, read through articles, or manage my personal schedules. Having that much screen space makes managing everyday life feel completely effortless.

Great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z fold 8 has been an amazing product so far. I'm glad I chose this phone because it makes reading articles or recipes and streaming TV or videos so much more convenient. It's almost been a week that I've had the device and I'm still learning about cool new features. I previously had a Z flip 7 and I am so happy with the dimensions of the fold 8. I wish they made an "ultra" version in this size. The only reason I didn't get the fold 8 ultra is because of the size and a pretty big downfall of the fold 8 is that there is no flex mode. I'm adjusting to not having that and I'm still loving my new phone.

The future of phones

Having to carry around a big, heavy phone that won't fit in your pocket is past tense. I chose the z fold 8 because it is compact, pocketable, but the big screen is there when you need it. With sit screens, a larger front screen, wider keyboard for typing, this thing is a powerhouse

A great Foldable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I traded in a Galaxy S24 Ultra for the Z Fold 8. It was a great decision. I chose the fold 8 over the Ultra because of the smaller form factor. I did a lot of research before I bought because I was concerned about the cameras. There are some tweaks using Camera Assistant that help a lot. Unless you do a lot of extreme zoom shots, you will be happy with these cameras for everyday use. I tried using the AI features on a couple of shots so far and it works great(I added the lightning to the attached pic). The phone is comfortable in the hand using either open or closed. Very frequent use throughout the day leaves me 60% battery at bedtime. I don't play games or watch movies on my phone. I had the Z flip 4 and 5 in the past, but this is my best foldable so far.

Can open like a mini tablet and fold back into a phone
Not to big that my hands can grab it for in 1 hand, and not to small so I have to squint every time it's folded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a longtime foldable user (Fold4, Fold6, Fold7), it's incredible seeing innovations with every iteration. The Galaxy Z Fold8 builds on the legacy of the previous seven generations to give us the closest we've ever been to the perfect foldable.
As an avid content-enthusiast, I chose the Fold8 for its popular aspect ratios, giving me a screen that's purpose built for the games I play and the videos I watch.
It truly is hard to see where we go from here. I've got the best screen, biggest battery, lightest design, and smallest form factor all in one package. What more could I ask for?
