Sleeker, Smarter, and Finally Seamless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is Samsung’s most refined foldable yet. With a virtually invisible crease, a lighter design, and a wider outer screen, it finally feels like a normal phone when closed and a powerhouse tablet when open.
While the cameras still fall slightly behind Samsung's flagship Ultra line and the price remains steep, the improved battery life and fluid multitasking make this the best overall foldable you can buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one of the first Z Fold phones and had switched to the S series because I didn't love the ratios of the screens when folded and unfolded. After years of my S22 Ultra, I chose to switch back to the fold series after seeing the shape! I hated that I couldn't use my phone with one hand, it didn't fit in my pocket, etc. This new Z Fold8 solved all my gripes!! 10/10 recommend

Nice product without extra bulk

Superior form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously owned the Fold 3 and Fold 7, I chose the Fold 8 256 in Graphite to try the new "wide" form factor. In just 24 hours it has exceeded all expectations. The cover screen in the passport size handles all forms of tasks and media flawlessly.
Web browsing and texting are effortless. Reddit and YouTube are just as satisfying on the cover screen, but having the option to unfold makes the experience even more immersing. The passport size is also great for traditional phone tasks and phone calls.
The wider format of the inner screen is the star of the show. In landscape mode multi-tasking is even better than on the Fold 7. Split app view is even better and more productive with more horizontal space. If need be, you can still switch to portrait mode which is my preferred orientation for web browsing. Of course full screen videos look the best in landscape.
Battery life and charging speeds are also an improvement over the Fold 7. I'm not a power user by any means, but so far I'm left with about 70% battery by the end of the work day and 45-50% battery by bed time. By comparison my Fold 7 was about 55-60% by the end of the work day and 35-45% by bed time with the same usage.
The cameras on the Fold 8 are unremarkable, neither good or bad. They get the job done (cat and toddler pics) but are nothing to write home about. Speakers are also unremarkable and I don't notice much of a difference from the Fold 7.
Overall, I can see why this phone and form factor are a hit

Pocket-sized at last.
