This phone is PERFECT and am ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had previous Z Folds before but, this time, I chose to get the Z Fold 8 for its size. I love it that I can read and view the front screen with ease even without having to open it up. And it is so easy to hold and carry in one hand! I open my phone to watch a movie and, it's a perfect size for it and the video comes through very clear beautifully!! I love playing games on it as the pictures are very easy to see. It's been a few months with my Z Fold 8, and I've gotten so many compliments on my phone already. All in all, it's the absolute best phone I've ever owned and am loving it more and more each day!!!

Z Fold 8 is a nice break from the norm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 as soon as I held one in my hands. The small frame is so different, but also refreshing. So far I find myself picking it up just to scroll, poke around, and get used to the overall feel. I've had Galaxy phones since the S3, and I decided to try this phone after watching multiple reviews and eventually getting to use the phone. The cameras could be a little better, but still take quality pics/videos. Also, the battery life seems good for the device and the compact form, but I also don't tend to use the big screen to often. Altogether if you haven't had the chance to try one out, just go play with one, and it will take you by surprise!

This phone is the perfect size

Excellent aspect ratio

My dad has a fold, and I got to use it for a week because I wanted to see what it was like. He currently has the fold seven, so I decided to get the fold eight after I used his. Dude this phone is amazing! I know it's not the Fold 8, but I tried out my dad's Fold 7, and it was amazing felt like I had a mini laptop with me. And I liked how you could multitask on it, how long the battery life was, especially with the adaptive battery

What a fold should be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using foldables for years now. This year I chose to get the Z Fold 8. I was unsure how the change in size and form factor versus the standard taller and more narrow foldables would effect my day to day usage. Literally within 72hrs I came to the realization that this was my ideal device. I want every fold to have this aspect ratio. The standard taller foldables are essentially a large slab style phone that turns into an even larger phone, because of the aspect ratio. The ZF8 is a small phone thats easily operated with one hand that opens into a small tablet. A tablet that's perfect for literally everything. Gaming is great. Multitasking is great. Using it in a horizontal view is great for reading or scrolling websites or even short form video content. Most of my usage is in landscape for video content. It's literally my favorite device of all time. It feels like phones have gotten so big over the years. This is 3 in 1 do it all device. 1: small but roomy and one hand-able when closed. 2:Landscape for long form content consumption or multitasking/gaming. 3: horizontal for short form content/reading/gaming. The hype is real, folks!

A new take on foldable phones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the first foldable phone from Samsung that I had but this far better than what I had before. The phone is insanely thinner, especially without the case. I've used the Z Fold 8 to watch short reels and movies, and surprisingly, the battery life is great! Whether on the main screen or the inner screen, colors are really vivid and I can hardly notice the crease when i open it. I haven't really played any action packed games but I didn't have any issues with the ones I was able to play.
The reason i'm not giving it a 5 star rating is the fact that when i have to type messages or use excel, the keyboard eats up the majority of the screen. It's kind of frustrating that I can't see the entirety of the message and i had to scroll through the little space that is left on the screen. Also, I don't like the fact that s-pen is not supported for this foldable,
All in all, I'd say that the things I like on this phone outweighs the things I don't like so, at the end of the day, I'm glad that I chose the new Z Fold 8. I think it was worth it!

Great in so many ways

The form factor, the quality the screens, the speed of the device, battery life... everything you would want in a phone and then some. I have no regrets at all. Getting new slab phones every year becomes very repetitive, this is the first time in a long time that getting a phone felt like a brand new experience. I feel like I chose the right phone for me.
