[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a longtime Samsung user, I chose the Z Fold 8 after I lost the ability to use my Fold 7 a few months ago following a saltwater accident. I was a little skeptical about the new form factor, but it has grown on me in the few days I have had the device.
I would totally recommend for anyone coming from a previous Fold that wants a change of pace.

The design feels premium, the large inner display is great for multitasking, and everything runs fast and smooth. Samsung continues to improve the Fold series, and this one feels more refined and practical for everyday use. Definitely a great phone for anyone who wants something different from a traditional smartphone.

So far it's a game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Samsung Z Fold 8 because of the passport design. I upgraded from a Z Flip 5, which I really enjoyed for the ~3 years I owned it. It took a ton of use and abuse and kept chugging along. It only started to show it's age after experiencing a few big drops in the past few months. The Z 8 Fold has an excellent cover screen and I really enjoy having the "tablet" capability when opened. I feel like I can actually utilize both screens where the Z Flip 5 I used the inside screen for the majority of things and only used the cover screen to check notifications and quick things, like weather. It takes a little to get to the passport form factor, but nothing inconvenient or annoying. Just new and different. It's a little heavier than the Flip 5, but that's to be expected and you get so much more capability that it feels like the increased weight greatly outweighs the benefits. Also still fits in my pocket very similar to the Flip.

Fantastic new phone

I love how compact it is for my lifestyle always on the go and it opens up for me to play my games or watch videos. The phone does a great job in adjusting the aspect ratio when opening up apps with the phone open. The crease is hardly noticeable, and battery life holds up well with games and when multitasking on split screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Zfold 8 for it's unique blend of having the best content consumption on any phone available, as we as an amazing way to increase my daily productivity and workflow in my professional life.
The unique AI features as we as the best In class folding technology is a no brainer. Not to mention the gaming on this unique form factor is unlike any other phone on the market.
If I think this is form factor is going to take the entire market over and Samsung is already breaking records with this new design and its really shaking up the market!
