I adore this company and my new phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchase a new handset this month and I am very pleased to share that i am so excited and happy with my new device. It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. I plan to use it to search the web to gain new knowledge of how things work, also to manage my email and for work and entertainment. I think this new development is just too cool. Loving the lavender finish. The giant screen makes watching crochet tutorials on Youtube much easier to see. I think I'm going to accomplish great things with my new handset, it has such a great camera to help me capture and share pictures thank you!!

My fold 8 experience

"love" the Samsung Fold 8. I have the Fold 7, and I upgraded to this phone because of its new design, which is wider and shorter. It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Overall, loving the phone. Definitely recommended.

Great phone with great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone because I love galaxy and it's products. This is a great phone for me to use for running my business (restaurant) I can access multiple apps or files simultaneously if I can't get to my office PC. I also love the samsung Dex feature on all galaxy phones because I have PC access on any monitor that I can plug into. This is great for work. The new wide fold is great for watching any type of video, i use it more than my samsung tablet because of convenience. Im glad I chelose this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 as I didn't want the privacy screen feature on the 26 ultra. I'm upgrading from the 24 ultra and I've never had a flip or fold and wasn't sure what to expect but so far so good. I'm using the outer screen a lot more than I thought I would as the wider screen is actually super useful for what I mostly use my phone for which is reading books, browsing the web, and playing mindless games with friends. I occasionally use the larger inner screen but honestly not asuch as I thought I might. That might change in the future as I've only had the phone a few days but the outer screen is like 90% perfect for what I need. If they made the galaxy s ultra 27 a bar phone, a little shorter than it currently is, and the width of the fold 8,that's probably make me upgrade right away just because of the other ultra features that the fold 8 doesn't have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 due to it's size rather than the ultra. Coming from a Fold 7, the 8 feels much better. The screen seems to have better colors, the underplate, that was upgraded, feels so much better and sturdier than the previous generation. The content on social media feels like im scrolling picture by picture as if going through reels; to me it feels smoother this way. This phone doesn't take much space and it's easier to carry around. It doesn't take the entire pocket of your pants as a regular phone would, and it beats the flip due to the bigger main screen and thinner size.
Most games are optimized and look better on the fold 8 than the 7. The longer screen of the 7 made the games feel stretch or would not take the entire screen on some cases. On the Fold 8 all games pretty much fill the screens. On the main screen, it's like it was meant to be that size, on front screen ilthey fit just fine and have enough screen to play them. There has been only 1 game so far that became unplayable due to not being optomized to the screen ratio of this new phone, but once that is fixed, it will be perfect.
Only down sides I found the fold 8 are obviously the lack of the extra camera for that nice zoom, which I honestly dont mind too much since I own a S26 too, and the loss of the mode where you could fold the main screen half-way and have of the screen act as a mouse. The phone does get a bit hot when playing videos and games for a while, specially on a hot day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I chose to upgrade to this phone from my Z fold 6 - this is a step up in almost every way. The screen dimensions are great, you can change the aspect ratio of any app that doesnt work very well with the size so that it does work. It feels sturdy in my hands and makes reading books very natural - splits the text into left and right side just like a paper book.
My only complaint is that, due to the phone being much more squat and the camera lenses still taking up just as much room on the back, no magsafe wallets will ever fit on the phone - cards are taller than the available space on the back. So I was forced to buy a wallet-fold-type case that includes card slots in the front flap in order to continue with my usual method of no purse carrying. I feel like the lenses could have gone across the top of the back of the phone easily enough, leaving more than enough room for magsafe wallets. This is, I feel, the one major drawback of the phone, and many others on the internet seem to agree with me.
