[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this model mainly because of its new shape, and I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised.
It’s quite compact, with a very good aspect ratio for the front screen, while the large internal display is excellent. It feels great in the hand and is extremely responsive.
The only disappointment is the average camera performance. It’s good, but unfortunately not as good as the Fold 8 Ultra.
Another huge improvement is Samsung’s transfer app. Moving all my data, settings, and apps from my old smartphone to the new one was much easier and smoother than before.
I’m still exploring all its features, but so far, I really love this phone.
As usual, Samsung remains at the forefront of the smartphone industry, releasing new and innovative models on schedule and continuing to attract customers from conventional smartphones that are starting to feel increasingly outdated.
In my opinion, folding smartphones are the future. They offer a level of versatility, multitasking, and functionality that traditional smartphones simply cannot match.

Fold 8 Love at First Hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 for form factor. It's the best in hand phone I have experienced in a long time! Battery life is phenomenal and screen quality is brilliant. My Razr Fold beats it in 2 ways. 1. Camera. The razr fold camera is extremely feature rich. 2. 80 watt charging leaves 0 wait time when I need my phone to charge up quickly. Give me triple camera system and add better charge speed and I will choose the Fold every year. This year though the form factor is what got me for sure.

Great little passport folding phone

FINALLY! The right form factor in a powerhouse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone as a replacement to my fold 7 due to the MUCH BETTER form factor which allows you to not have to open the phone so much when using. Because of the wider out screen and the shorter length this phone is perfect as a daily driver. Samsung has been quite stubborn in the long and slimcandy bar style shape foldable which was rendering the outer screen useless as it was too difficult to type on due to the slim form factor.
But NOW, the Fold 8 has followed the Pixel fold form factor and voila! It's a powerhouse as the software has always been superb, but now the wider shape allows me to use this without frustration. Kudos to Samsung for finally listening. This phone will dominate the market.

This is a great form factor

Images display beautifully on it - I feel like I'm pulling a photo out of my wallet and showing friends, and it's far less awkward than a big long slab phone. Unfolded it's great too - very compelling for having 2 apps open side by side. I chose a winner in the Fold 8 so far!

Finally, the Device I've Been Waiting For

I really like the new wider design—it feels compact and comfortable when folded, but once you open it, you get a beautiful large screen that feels like having a mini tablet in your pocket.
The phone is surprisingly light and thin for a foldable, and the overall design feels much more practical for everyday use. The large inner display is great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking.
For me, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 finally feels like the right balance between a smartphone and a tablet. I’m really happy I chose it!

Amazing foldable phone, it makes iphones ancient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold eight because it is the exact right size for viewing media content when folded open and it is perfect size for using the outer screen as it eliminates unnecessary space that you don't need to be carrying around for no reason.
