[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 as my upgrade and it has been a great decision. The main display is stunning and makes reading documents, reviewing spreadsheets, and multitasking feel effortless. I can have two or three apps open side by side, which is perfect for getting real work done on the go. The crease is barely noticeable and the hinge feels solid and smooth. The phone is thinner and lighter than previous generations, so it is comfortable to use folded as a regular phone. The cameras are sharp in daylight and handle low light well, and the AI features for photo editing and instant translation are genuinely useful. Battery life gets me through a full day of heavy use. The cover screen is wide enough to type on comfortably without opening the phone. There is a slight learning curve to master the multitasking, but after a few days i+ hecomes second nature. Overall this le most versatile phone I have owned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a foldable fan since the original flip was sold and I still love foldable phones. However, Samsung have hit a home run with the Fold 8. The phone just looks good without even exploring its capabilities. The front screen is the perfect and fo most things without unfolding. The phone is very light even with added cover. I normally use my fold for videos and reading while commuting to work. Opening the phone is a fantastic experience, but the best feature is watching videos. I am finding myself watching videos unfold. The phone uses every inch of real estate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why? Because human eyes were created in landscape, not portrait. The wider format really makes a difference when using multiple apps but also in email. It works excellently. The width of it when closed is reminiscent of the first Galaxy Note. I have been a Fold customer since the ZF3. I have a ZF7 and S24 Ultra, the latter of which I traded for the ZF8. No regrets so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 because I wanted something new. I wanted something that was wide and I could easily put it in my pocket and I could reach from front to top. And this has been a great device so far. Very capable and I look forward to using it every day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the phone I’ve been waiting for! Love how slick and compact the cover screen is—small, but perfectly formed. Open up the main display, though, and that’s where the real magic happens. It’s literally a pocket-sized tablet. Huge credit to Samsung for dropping it a day before the official launch date, too. Christmas definitely came early this year!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 from my S25 Ultra, and the extra screen real estate has been a total game changer. As a college student studying Youth Development Programming and working as a Paraeducator, I am constantly juggling coursework, schedules, and daily tasks. Having that large main display lets me split-screen documents, keep track of plans, and manage my day effortlessly without feeling cramped. Outside of work and school, coaching basketball and staying active keeps me on the move, so having a device that transitions so easily from productivity to streaming and handheld gaming on the go is huge. The hardware quality is top tier, making it a complete upgrade for both my daily routines and my downtime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best phone I've ever owned. I chose the galaxy z fold 8 series and wow. It's small stature, wide range and unique color make for an enjoyable experience. It's so smooth and the battery is great. I love how compact it is. I've been a loyal samsung user for years and you all impress me every time. Amazing phone! Brava!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide): The Pocket Tablet for Tech lovers. Remember when Samsung insisted you needed a tall, skinny TV-remote screen on the outside of your foldable? Well, they finally gave in. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide has arrived, and it actually feels like a normal phone when closed. Unfold it, and you’re holding a 7.6-inch canvas built for pure mini open canvas with a multitude of potential. Who is this actually for? The Multitasking Overlord: People who need to review a quarterly spreadsheet, watch a YouTube video on mechanical keyboards, and reply to Slack simultaneously. The "I Don't Need a Laptop" Delusionist: You will attempt to edit a document in DeX mode at a coffee shop just to look like a cyberpunk nomad. Spec Heads: Packed with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, this thing runs smoother than a buttered skate park. The Reality Check Is it expensive? Absolutely—it costs enough to make your wallet cry softly in the corner. It’s also wider, meaning tight jeans are officially your mortal enemy. But typing on the front screen without thumb cramps? Glorious. Verdict It’s overly extra, delightfully ridiculous, and ridiculously fast. If you want a subtle phone, buy literally anything else. But if you want to hold the future, look cool doing it, and flex on everyone at the airport, the Fold 8 Wide reigns supreme. Rating: 9.5/10 (Minus 0.5 because my bank account is now mad at me)
