[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Ultra variant after some heavy decisions.. and I made the right choice! It's the ULTRA for a reason I couldn't wait to get back to a fold and I knew the 8 was what I was waiting for! I have the outside display set up as just a normal phone, being that the inner and outer displays don't have to be the same home screen (like some competitors) and my inner screen is set for full media/multitasking consumption! I hadn't had a fold since the 3 so I'm blown away at the advancements that have been made, yes I've been keeping track but owning one again is much different than seeing the improvements! The software is also a huge plus, split screen features, battery management, the new battery and charging speeds, wrapped up in premium hardware is just a chefs kiss!

It looks and feels high quality, and is sturdy for a foldable. The inside screen is amazing and really helps me multi task and get work done. The features are amazing, and all around a very versatile phone. Definitely my new favorite galaxy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned all of the folds but versions 3 and 5. I may never go back to a non-folding phone. My biggest gripe however, is that the cameras lenses stick out too far and make for an awkward typing experience when the phone is sitting on a flat surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 6 to the Z Fold 8 Ultra due to the camera and display updates, and so far it did not disappoint. The 200MP camera is a big improvement over the 50MP on the 6, and the wider front screen makes it easier to use, and the antireflective inside screen with a barely noticeable crease is a pleasure to use. I only hope that the inside screen does not delaminate, like every previous generation has.

My 1st Fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been with Samsung from the first Note, switching over to the Galaxy Ultra series. I've always been curious by the Fold line, but the phones were always 2nd tier with cameras, screen, etc. With the newest Fold 8 Ultra, it finally checks the boxes I wanted to make the change. The screen is sharp and vibrant, the anti glare makes the crease basically non-existent, and the cameras are solid. The only reason I went with a 4 instead of 5 is that, even though it has the same battery capacity as my Galaxy Ultra did, this one seems to discharge a little faster (when using the outer screen, obviously the unfolded screen will use more). It's not a significant difference but I can tell already, so I'm unsure how it'll hold a charge 6 months from now.
