What crease?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Fold 7, I wasn't expecting a huge jump after only a year, but I chose to upgrade anyway and I'm glad I did. First thing you notice is the crease, or rather that there isn't one. I keep running my thumb across the middle out of habit and there's just nothing there. The hinge feels tighter too, less wobble when it's partly open, and it snaps shut with more authority.
The brighter screen is real. I noticed it the first time I used it outside, which is usually where these phones give up.
Smart Switch also surprised me. It gets a little better every time and this round it was completely painless. Everything came over, apps, layouts, logins, and by the next day I honestly forgot I was on a different phone.
Only gripe is the color options. Pretty safe choices. A skin will fix that, but it would be nice to have more to pick from up front.
I usually trade in every year. This one I think I'm keeping for two.

Easier to open!

I show people pictures on my phone when I open the phone out so they can see the pictures better. Everyone is impressed that my phone unfolds.

The best phone I've ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful 120hz screens on both the cover screen and inside. Being able to have a phone and tablet all in one is way better than I could've imagined. I love anything artsy absolutely creative so being able to watch movies and read books with this has been pretty life changing. There is so much real-estate on the inside screen. While using it you can't even notice the crease either. All in all, I'm incredibly impressed with the design and presentation. I'll be using this for years to come.

Firdt time after 7 generations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had tested previous generation on the Fold phones and none of them had keep my interest on owning one. I think they had improved a lot for the last couple of year and finally can really make this phone some benefit out of it. Still the crest on the screen its visible after a few opening and closing but not like previous generation. Also the hinge is been improved, and not allowing that easy opening or gap between the center and the end of the edges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because I wanted a phone that could replace both my traditional smartphone and a small tablet. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, multitasking, browsing, and getting work done, while the outer display works great for everyday use without having to unfold the phone. The design feels refined and premium, and the overall performance has been fast and smooth. Coming from a previous Galaxy Fold, the improvements make the experience feel more polished. I'm very happy with my choice so far and look forward to seeing how it holds up with everyday use.
