Excellent upgrade for work and entertainment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted a device that could handle both productivity and entertainment without compromise. I use it throughout the day for work, gaming, watching movies, and everyday tasks, and the large foldable display makes all of those experiences better.
The screen on this version looks noticeably clearer and brighter, which is especially impressive when watching movies or gaming. Multitasking for work is also one of my favorite parts of using the Fold, since I can have multiple apps open and actually make use of the extra screen space.
The camera has also been excellent. Photos come out sharp, clear, and detailed, and I have been very happy with the overall image quality.
Overall, this has been a great upgrade and easily earns five stars from me.

The battery life and camera are awesome. My old cell phone was a Z Fold 3 5G. The 8 Ultra is an absolute upgrade. I also purchase the Galaxy 9 watch but have no set it up or used it yet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I chose the Galaxy z fold 8 ultra. It was a worthy upgrade, the battery life is phenomenal, it's so thin too! And I can't hardly tell there's a crease when I open it up. And the front screen is so good in terms of size, I don't have to unfold to get a lot done if I don't want to. I feel like I have 2 phones in the palm of my hand instead of one. And don't get me started on the camera. The picture quality is excellent. The Galaxy z fold 8 ultra rocks!!!

Best upgrade ever!

The performance jump is immediately noticeable — gaming feels smoother, faster, and more immersive, especially on the larger, brighter display. Watching videos is equally impressive; the screen quality and speakers make it feel like a mini tablet built for entertainment.
Multitasking is where the Fold 8 Ultra really shines. Running multiple apps at once is effortless, and the improved layout options make productivity feel natural instead of cramped. As someone who used the Fold 5 daily, this upgrade feels like a true leap forward in speed, usability, and overall experience.
Samsung absolutely nailed this one.

Refreshing switch from slab phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to try the Fold 8 Ultra as my first foldable phone switching from the S26 Ultra. The slab or chocolate bar style phone was getting old pretty much the same old thing year after year. The large inside screen is awesome to watch videos and browse websites. Battery life is super solid. Super bright screens. Only issue i have had is twice now if I go from an open app or browser on the large screen then close it to use the front screen the page or app completely locks up and you must close the app and start over.

Exceptional phone

The z fold serious gets better each year. Samsung takes the time to listen and acknowledge reviews on how to make things better. I have been a Samsung customer for over 20 years and truly do not see myself going to another major brand at all.
