[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tumi Ventura bag is too awesome. Design is rugged modern but still very luxe. The hard shell definitely can take the beating of travel and still hold up extremely well. For work travel I only move with a carry on and backpack. The Tumi held everything I need well that would go in overhead storage. Has all the must have features that matter like 360 wheels, super lightweight, and an integrated zipper lock. Wheels move flawlessly across the airport and the hotel floors. On the inside, the zippered compartments separate the entire half of the bag. Perfect for keeping my golf shoes and dress shoes away from my polos, button ups, and slacks. The zippered expansion was handy after returning with more than I left home with. Easy zip and now a few inches thicker while still remaining structurally the same. Will definitely be helpful for when my wife overpacks and starts looking for space in bags. Overall, this bag is exactly what premium is supposed to be. Top quality, hyper light, and look the part.

Lightweight, Durable, and Perfect for Family Travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently took the Tumi ventra expandable carry-on on a long weekend trip to visit family with my 3-year-old. The color I have, "cadet texture," is a gorgeous dark pacific blue. It is subtle, classic, and unique enough to spot in a sea of black luggage.
What impressed me most was the balance between weight and durability. This suitcase is super lightweight, yet it feels incredibly sturdy. As a parent, I have an unconventional test for my luggage: can it smoothly handle a toddler riding on top? While I’m sure TUMI wouldn’t officially recommend using it this way, my 3-year-old spent plenty of time riding on the suitcase through airports, and it rolled effortlessly and never felt strained or unstable.
The international sizing is another huge advantage. I love that it meets (most) European carry-on requirements when unexpanded but can be expanded for additional capacity on domestic trips. For this weekend, it comfortably held everything needed for both me and my toddler, without using the expansion feature. Being able to travel light without feeling constrained is a huge plus.
Inside, the organization strikes exactly the right balance for my preferences. There are enough organizational features to keep things tidy without adding unnecessary weight or complexity. I generally prefer a lighter suitcase over one packed with compartments, and TUMI got that balance right. The built-in luggage tag is also a thoughtful touch.
The overall travel experience was exceptional. The wheels genuinely felt like I was barely pushing anything, even with a toddler on board. The zippers glide effortlessly. It feels like a piece of luggage that will last for many years, and it will be my go-to carry-on for a long time to come.

Great for a 2-3 business trip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will be my new favorite carry on for a 2-3 days business trip that I take almost every month. Tumi quality is unparalleled, attention to every detail, great craftsmanship. I love the inside organization on both sides, which is almost never the case with carry-ons. I pack clothes on one size without any poaches, just staples, and shoes, toiletries and other stuff on the other side, which separates clean clothes from everything else. This gray color is very pretty, goes well with my handbag, nice tag matching the color of the suitcase. Expandable handle is sturdy, small enough to fit a woman’s hand unlike most suitcases that hover those bulky handles. Overall I’m excited to take it on my trip tomorrow.

High Quality Luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new Tumi Ventra Expandable Carry On! For starters, it has a very sleek look and feel. It’s easy to tell that the design was well thought out and constructed beautifully. I love all the pockets and the expansion option allowed me to fit even more inside. I was able to pack everything my 2 kids needed for an extended weekend. I’m OBSESSED with the wheels and how easily this carry on glides and turns. It made it super easy to be on the run in the airport. The laundry bag was a thoughtful addition as that is something I always need when traveling, but rarely remember to account for when packing! All in all, this is a high quality piece of luggage.

The best carry-on luggage choice i've ever made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tumi Ventra is an incredible quality carry-on bag. While it tends towards the more compact and practiced traveller, the expansion capabilities can probably manage to help someone needing a bit more space.
I loved the touch of a dedicated airtag pouch, dedicated shoe pockets, and the fact that the bag comes with a dedicated laundry bag. Both sides also zip closed allowing for carrying flat objects/books/paperwork in between the two halves (making for a lighter travel in my backpack personally).
My one nit is that i wish the two zippered halves opened out from each other instead of the same direction - with both open the flap covers the open side of the bag. Outside of that, the ride was smooth (wheels feel as good as day 1 now after 2 trips) and the handle height is sufficient where a lot of other bags fail.

Great carry on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This suitcase is a great addition to my travel collection. I appreciate the sleek and stylish design and the smart exterior features such as the TSA friendly lock and built in luggage tag. The suitcase maneuvers very well - even my four year old easily pushed it herself.
Upon first glance the interior pockets seem space limited but once I loaded it up I realized how spacious it truly is. For a compact suitcase it easily has room for 4 days of clothes and a toiletry bag, with room to spare when the expandable zipper is opened up.
The inside pockets also have a few functional zippered pockets which are perfect for phone chargers, books, and more.
Overall this is a beautifully designed suitcase and I look forward to many future travels with it in tow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lil' guy is a workhorse! I'm a chronic over-packer, so expandable options are always up my alley. Things that stood out to me, ie, little details I appreciate, are the little buckle attachment for a luggage tag (I've had too many ruined tags because of having to attach them to handles), the dust bag, the airtag pocket, and inside pocket organizers. My toddler was able to pull it around the house, so easy to navigate? Check. I don't loooovvveeee the external qr code and barcode for "if found, call xxxx" with what I think is probably a serial number (?), but it isn't a deal breaker for me.
