This case is just ok. I liked the different look about it. It offers great protection from drops, I’ve had a few. However I purchased the green and it is already getting discolored in areas in less than a month of use. Also a bit more bulky than I expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The case looks nice and has a good feel, but there is a design flaw where the buttons on the phone do not work or are always partially depressed. My phone was constantly taking unwanted screenshots, bringing up Apple pay when I didn’t want it, I couldn’t adjust the volume with the case on, and the sleep/screen off button wouldn’t respond to touching the case button nub in any way. I have been a big fan of Otterbox for over a decade and love their cases. This model, however, was returned.

The case is protective. So it gets 3 stars but the design is not very beautiful. The back of the case for example, instead of the cross pattern, it would have been nicer if it was just clear. The pink rim is nice for gripping.
