[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Galaxy z Flip 8 and I chose to go with the Watch 9 to pair with it. I think it is always a better experience when you pair a great wearable along with a new phone device. I really like it so far but I have a lot to learn about the watch 9.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Galaxy watch each year gets better and I can already tell it has a better battery life. I chose Watch9 for sleep, step, exercise and health calculations. Great for swim aerobics. Great for text email and phone notifications also. I can see at a glance my battery level, steps, date, time, weather, heart rate and set a timer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a wonderful watch. I'm glad I chose to upgrade from my old Galaxy Watch 7 to this newest version. And in addition to all the fun it was super easy to transfer all settings including the watch faces from old to new. Yeah! Happy customer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 because it is an update from my Watch 5. I enjoy the extra workout/health futures and I think it will help me towards my fitness goals. The interface is smoother and crisp. The Watch 9 face is a bit bigger and square shaped, while the Watch5 was round, but the visible screen fills out the watch face more to the edge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is happy with her new Watch 9. I chose Samsung as a gift for her because its technology is intuitive and beautifully designed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this watch because I had a bigger battery. Man was I wrong about it lasting longer. The battery lasts at best 8 hours if you're using any of the health features and the AOD. I don't know if Samsung was oblivious to this or if they thought people had time to charge their watch two or three times a day, especially considering it takes about 2 hours to charge. That's 25% of the day just to get your watch running the other 75% of the day. What a joke.

Hello Mark529h, Thanks for taking the opportunity to share your insights with us regarding your initial impression of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch9. The Galaxy Watch9 40mm version has a 390 mAh battery while the 44mm version offers a 445 mAh battery. The higher capacity allows your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! If you're experiencing less than anticipated battery life on your new device, please take a moment to review the resources provided below to help resolve what you may be experiencing. If you have any questions for us or if you would like further assistance, please let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra
