[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately after several years of good service, my Active2 watch face decided to separate from the bezel. Rather than repairing it, I chose to purchase the new Watch9. It has been less than a week of use so far. Still getting used to how large it looks on my wrist due to the squircle bezel. Battery life is a bit better than I was expecting based on reviews - can last probably 36hrs but I use Sleep Mode at night and the display is set to only turn on briefly with wakeup button push or wrist flick. And it will depend on how much activity tracking is done during the day. The display is bright and clear, although I never had complaints about the Active2 display. For what I have been using the watch for, I wouldn't say I notice much difference in performance, but I am a basic user. Not having seen any of the band choices in person, I chose the Misty band which is OK but nothing special. My wrist gets a bit sweaty under it. Disappointed that I can't use any of my old watchbands (knew before ordering) and I'm sure I will have to buy some other styles. Have not used the linked calling capability yet, so I can't comment on call quality. Hoping this watch lasts at least as long as the Active2 did without issues!

Great Upgrade

My new watch is so lightweight and the fabric watchband is so comfortable. If you're curious about the Watch9, I recommend checking it out!

This watch gives me valuable health insights

I chose to upgrade this time because so many new health features are present on the watch 9. The blood pressure readings are nearly identical to my cuff readings, so I am confident they are useful. Information about my heart health is important to me, and the watch keeps track of critical data, day and night. I am very pleased with the Samsung watch 9.
