The watch becomes very hot while charging

I recently upgraded from the Galaxy 7 to the Galaxy 9 watch, excited about the new features for tracking my fitness and blood pressure. After just a few days with the new watch, the fitness tracker is working smoothly so far! I haven't used the blood pressure tracker yet. However, I do have a big concern regarding the charging process. Why does my watch get so incredibly hot during and after charging? I can't wear the watch immediately after charging because it feels like it's scorching my skin. This presents a significant issue for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from the Galaxy watch 5 to the Galaxy watch 9. This is such an amazing upgrade. The hardware is way better and the software integration is seamless. I love the features that both Samsung wearable and Samsung Health have. It can compile an impressive amount of health data. I totally recommend this watch for anyone wanting a lot of watch without breaking the bank. Easy 10/10

This helps track my sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy 9 watch because I wanted to start tracking mt sleep habits and daily health routines. It's helped me learn about sleep issues I otherwise didn't know I was having at night, and just thought everyone was always this tired like I was all day. It also tracks my stress levels during the day and can remind when I should take a step back and calm down!

I get my emails and messages in one place without having to lift my phone. I understand that this is not new technology, but for me, it is. I'm so happy with my Galaxy watch!

Watch 9 Sleep Tracking Disappoints Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to replace my Galaxy Watch Ultra with the new Galaxy Watch 9 because it promised improved sleep tracking. New BioActive sensors and Samsung Health app algorithms would supposedly provide better information about sleep stages. I've been tracking my sleep for over four years on four successive Galaxy watches and the Galaxy Ring. Since 2025 data gaps of up to one hour began to appear in the sleep timeliness. I had hoped the Watch 9 would correct that. But quite the opposite happened. The Watch 9 fails to track 70% to100% of my sleep. It's not due to how I wear the watch or how my watches power and permissions are set, the Samsung swears those are the only possible explanations. I consulted AI and it tells me a congenital heart arrhythmia is the likely culprit. It was always there but the new Watch 9 has gotten better at detecting it and that causes the sleep tracking to freeze up. I only wish Samsung would at least provide a small print warning that for a small percentage of users certain physiological traits might seriously impair the ability of Samsung Health to track sleep. Thankfully, my spouse is in the majority who are thoroughly pleased with all the features of their new Watch 9.

Galaxy Watch 9 is best in Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 because I have purchased every iteration of Galaxy wearable watches since the Watch 2 and each year they get better and better. The Watch 9's features are impressive and I love how they changed the timer system for workouts since I enjoy tracking mine and meeting my goals. I also like being able to track my blood oxygen levels, stress and sleep levels. I am happy that I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 and next year I will most likely upgrade again. I am still unlocking new features and getting used to every function.”
