perfect size and perfect toast

we use the home toaster to simply toast bread. Works as we expected and we have perfect toast each time. the newness of the heating elements have worn off, and now we just smell the toast. No issues with the toaster. Lights up, knob is easy for arthritic hands, buttons for mode changes are also easy to push.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A real dissapointment

The toaster delivers inconsistent results. Although the exterior doesn't get extremely hot, it is quite warm. It is not insulated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This toaster looks and functions great. It has a large range of shade options that are pretty accurate and sensitive.

Solid So Far, just a little smell

The toaster looks beautiful and is very solid. Works great so far, and this may just fade with time, but the first couple uses I’ve smelled a little lingering of a bad smell when the toasting starts. Alarmist like something during manufacturing or packaging is added that (I’m hoping) burns off after a couple more uses.

I have always trusted GE products, their quality and workmanship.
GE has been around since the 1890's and founded by Thomas Edison and JP Morgan. Their legacy and innovation still holds true to manufacturing quality products that last!
I love this new toaster and can honestly say I am not surprised at how well it's designed and made.
I have tried all the different shade settings and although I prefer 5 1/2 for toast, all the settings are consistent to the degree in which they are set.
I would strongly recommend this product for quality at a reasonable price point. As far as styling, this product would do any decor justice.
