Two sliced toaster/bagel/defrost

Do you overall like about the toaster is it does a great job toasting but it does not do a great job with bagels. Bagels are only supposed to be browned on one side it lights up both sides. I don’t understand this process so it really isn’t a bagel feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just started using our new toaster. The first time I used it was at a lower setting. It toasted a bit lighter than I like so I adjusted the knob on the toaster and my toast was perfect!
The finish is beautiful and will be easy to keep clean. I also like the oversized lighted buttons.

On level 7 it barely toasts, one side is hotter than the other. Kinda disappointing given the fact is a GE

We’d like to provide information about your toaster, and address the issue you’re having with toasting. If you’re using the Bagel setting, we can advise toasting will only be on one side, as only the inner heating elements are used in that mode. We also expect that toasting may be uneven.
We have information about what to try if items aren't toasting enough on page 8 of the manual; that’s linked here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--qLnuKRXy--/0d0207591b7921ca81c85acc030d10d7ea2008ce.pdf. General troubleshooting is also available on that page. Among other tips, we recommend disconnecting the toaster from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it.
If you continue to have issues and think the toaster isn't operating as designed, please contact our warranty team directly at 1-833-4BODEWELL. Information about the warranty is available on page 11 of the manual.

Not much to say about a toaster, it works...

This is the 2nd toaster I have ever owned. I am sure my old one is from the 80's. This one is much nicer looking. It takes up a little more space on the counter but works great. I like the frozen option to heat up waffles and seem to get them just right. The verdict is still out on the "feet". I kind of liked the way my old one just slides out from the wall, where this one has non-slip feet on it, you have to pick it up to move it. I do like the knob dial setting. I bought this becasue I got a offer from my Capital One credit card, get 50 statement credit when you spend 50...
I would recommend this to a friend!
