It looks great, Not so great otherwise

This is our second toaster. I returned the first one thinking we had just gotten a bad one. The toaster does work but it basically toasts only on one side like I’ve pushed the bagel button when I haven’t. All of the heating elements do not light up on it and did not on the first one either. Our last toaster was a GE and was a great toaster for years. Unfortunately we are not satisfied with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not top GE quality

I purchased a GE toaster because thru the years the appliances have preformed well and lasted for years with very minimal breakdowns. This toaster toasts dark on one side and light on the other so you have to stand over it and turn the bread. So, it doesn’t get used very much

This is a great looking toaster, and it works... just not well. It has settings from 1 to 7, with half (e.g. setting 3.5) increments. Unfortunately, everything up until setting 5 is worthless. It will just add a bit of warmth to the bread. It is only at setting 5 that the bread will begin to slightly tan. On setting 6.5 the toast will be decently brown, but it will have an uneven pattern of light and dark areas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
