This is the 3rd new toaster we have purchased and used in past two months, and the GE is by far the best, most reliable, simplest to use. What could be so complicated about a basic toaster?

A toaster that doesn't toast evenly

Attractive enough on the counter. But it doesn't toast evenly. One side of the bread gets a lot darker than the other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend trying out different shade settings to help achieve an even heating. We also suggest trying a quick electronic reset, this can be done by removing the power cord for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

This toaster meets my needs . It is simple to operate . Toaster level is adjustable and has a bagel adjustment feature which I've used and like.

Doesn't toast evenly. You have to flip the toast. Slightly better than my old toaster but poor nonetheless
